"Call the physician! Call him now! Quick!" Caspian yelled. The once sickly prince sprang into action and grabbed a basin beside the bed, catching the thick clumps of what looked like blood before any more of it could touch the already stained sheets.
At the other end, Marie held her hair up, making sure the already salty, damp strands didn't get in the way. Her little face seemed to shrink at the sight of her sister's pain.
"Hello! Is anyone there?" Caspian yelled again, looking at the closed door desperately as the girl—his supposed other half—seemed to vomit everything in her stomach. At that moment, he remembered all the times he had been saved because she had been there for him to take energy from.
