Yo! So shout out to nick_name for being the first person (of hopefully many) to stone me! Also made me realize I could be stoned lol, I thought I'd have to reach 15k words, but times have changed ig, but thanks again! And hope the rest of ya'll throw a few my way too.
Also check out "An Archive of my own", very on the nose? sure, but my first chapter of a potential story has been posted there, another Marvel story, but it's starting point is very different and removed from this, so let me know what ya think! Now onto the story...

"I got a feeling!" I start singing throwing my arms up.
"That tonight's gonna be a good night." I continue, firing into the air, taking out two Chitauri aiming down at me from the roofs.
"That tonight's gonna be a good night!" I throw my arms to the side, killing another two who rounded peaked me on both sides of me.
"That tonight's gonna be a good good night!" I drop a gun and grab a energy grenade from my pocket, activating it and throwing it up, exploding right as a group of those three, glider things passed.
"Man I am never getting that name down." I mutter to myself with a sigh, continuing on my way.
...
I kept making my way, easily dealing with each encounter I had with the aliens, which was inevitable, since you know, I've gone through this countless times now. But then came the reason I most recently died.
"What's up dude!" I exclaim, dodging under the swing of a Chitauri who dropped from one those hover, glider things. I quickly uppercut, only to end up regretting it as I also partially hit the edge of his metal face mask.
Ignoring the pain though, I quickly bring it back down to it's knees in a strangle hold.
"Let's see that ugly mug." I say while gripping it's mask, straining to rip it off as it clawed at my arms, but I didn't budge, and eventually taking it off, I start slamming it's face into the tar street.
"This is just payback, no hard feelings!" I say, satisfied with myself. It was a, weird habit I've picked up. To relieve some stress, I'd brutalize any alien I can... Is it inhuman? Maybe, but they're literal aliens, and they've killed me... countless amount of times now, so whatever, fuck them.
Quickly double tapping it, I continue whistling my way down the street, before I'm greeted by a Leviathan wrapping around a corner, being led by Iron Man.
"Whelp, probably gonna die again, whatever." I mentally prepare myself for the very possible pain, but then I'm suddenly lurched to the side, before landing on a roof.
"Hey man, I appreciate you tryna help us heroes out, but let us handle it." Spider-Man, Peter said to me.
"Oh what's up Pete! Been wondering where you've been." I greeted him casually, throwing my arm around his shoulders.
"U-Uhm, who's Pete? I don't know any Pete's, are you su-" He starts, pushing me away lightly, but I cut him off.
"Oh cut the act man, it's been obvious since it's the start." I say teasingly, and I watched him hesitate before pulling off his mask.
"... Was it really that obvious?" He hesitated, staring down at the mask in his hands, before looking up at me and asking.
"Yeah dude, but like, since I'm your bestfriend and all, it was kinda easy to catch on... But I gotta ask a favor real quick." I add quickly at the end, pulling him out of whatever thoughts he was having.
"Uh, what you need?"
"You guys haven't figured out how to close the big portal yet, right?" I asked.
"No, we've just been kind of working on containing this whole thing and doing what we can." He answered, looking downcast at the thought of not being to close the portal maybe.
"Well I gotta solution, do you have something I can talk to Iron Man, or like Cap or Reed with?"
"Wha-What?! Um, yeah here." He said before tossing me a ear pod, don't know where it came from but I'ma chalk it up to some very hidden pockets.
"Hello? Is this thing working?" I ask after putting it on.
"Who the hell is this?" Asked somebody, probably Stark.
"Don't worry about who, just know I got a solution to all this." I answer, to which my words quickly got a response.
"You do? What is it?" Asked Cap, I was able to recognize his voice.
"I need someone to get me on Stark tower, I can close the portal." I quickly answer.
"And why should we trust you?" Asked Stark again with clear distrust.
"Because I can see the future." I answer simply. The reason I've decided to rely on this excuse? Well considering my ability, I can easily shape the future to what I want, and I can't say I have Return By Death, which isn't even an apt description anymore, so I decided on future telling.
"... Yeah kid I don't know how you got on this channel but get off of-"
"Call Fury right now and ask him if a nuke is on the way." I cut Stark off.
"What? Fury wouldn't do that." Cut in Cap.
"He wouldn't, can't say the same about his superiors though." I finish, and then a long silence settled.
"... Call him Tony. If there's a chance, that what this guy says is true-" Cap started, before Stark cut him off.
"Yeah I know, I'm already on it." Came Stark's voice, at this point Peter already went back to saving lives, not wanting to stand still for too long, but I assumed he, along with whatever other heroes were on this line, were listening closely.
"It's a possibility, Fury apparently just got off the phone with the World Security Council and they want to blow us all to kingdom come." Eventually Stark said.
"Kid, how did-"
"Like I said Stark, I can see the future. Now start reserving you're energy everyone, cause we might have to get that nuke through the portal ourselves somehow." I cut him off, addressing everybody who may have been listening.
"Alright someone get this guy up there. Where you at kid?" Roger ordered.
"On the roof off a building on xxx street and xxx ave." I replied.
"I got him." I suddenly heard a woman, and not 3 seconds later I am greeted by the Black Widow, hands holding onto knives embedded in the back of a Chitauri who was controlling a glider.
"Hop on kid, and hold on tight." She said, to which I obediently answered... What? It's Black Widow.
"Alright kid, get ready to jump off." She says as we approach Stark Tower.
"Yes ma'am." I respond, and eventually we get off, as the Chitauri kept flying off, before plummeting into a building and blowing up.
"Ouch." I comment.
"Focus up, how do we close it?" Widow asked me.
"You see Loki's Scepter?" I ask pointing down over the edge of where we were.
"Get me it." I simply say, and not one to argue, she quickly descended to get it.
Coming back up with it in hand, she hands it off to me, to which I start talking in the ear pod again.
"Alright I'm ready when you guys are to close it." I state, putting the scepter into the forcefield around the Tesseract.
"Go for it." Rogers said.
"Don't! That nuke you mentioned is on the way, gotta put it in the portal." Stark instantly followed up.
"Maybe I can contain it with my forcefields?" Sue suddenly chimed in.
"No, sorry but if we want these Chitauri to go offline, ALL of them, we need to take out the mothership on the other side. They're all controlled by it, take it out, take them out, and I have no clue if their wireless plan covers multiple galaxy's, but I don't want to find out." I answered before anyone else, I'm sure that Sue could maybe contain the blast, depending how strong she is in this universe, but what about after? The blast would be contained sure, but I doubt Sue would be able to infinitely contain the radiation, if she even could do that with her powers.
"...Alright, I'll make it hit the mothership, wish me luck ya." Tony chuckled to himself, but no one laughed with him.
"You know that's a one way trip, right?" Cap said, but he didn't reply.
Watching the nuke get closer, I felt, oddly happy, knowing I'm witnessing this iconic scene firsthand. Was it maybe the wrong emotion to feel? Maybe, but it's not like I had to be scared of anything, after all, I can't die!... Or, stay dead, at least.
Eventually, Stark got the nuke through the portal, and looking through it, at him, I could see him, let go of the missile before beginning his free fall back to earth, and past him, an explosion. The nuke going off, releasing an orange wave and rushing back toward me, us, Earth.
"Close it." Cap eventually said, and so I did. Sticking the scepter towards the crown of the device, it stopped shooting it's beam into the sky, and the portal started closing. Right before it did though, Stark came through, still free falling, but then, the air itself seemed to catch him, before slowly bringing him back down.
"Probably Storm." I mutter to myself, before focusing back on the device. Putting down the scepter, I grab the top of the it before throwing it down and rolling it to the side, leaving the Tesseract on the ground alone.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Widow suddenly asked, turning to me, but I ignored her. Picking the scepter back up, I raise it high in the sky, the tip pointed to the ground, and slam it down into the Tesseract.
"Hey!" She exclaimed, rushing to me, but it was to late, as I pulled the scepter out, and it crumbled into a glass pile.
"What the hell was that?!" She screamed, hand firm on my shoulder, but I drop to the ground and start sifting through the pile, before seeing it. A gem, blue in nature, something that could easily fit in the palm of my hand, and I grab it.
First, came the overwhelming power. I could feel it, the ability to shape space how I fit, folding it, making a blackhole, all possible, but yet just as quickly came the pain. And then I remembered a crucial detail about myself, despite everything, I was still a normal human. Then I died, again.

Hey guys, hope you all enjoyed the chapter, and sorry if it seemed lower in quality, or rushed. I had this chapter lined up for yesterday, like 3 PM, spent the day before writing it, and SAVING multiple times, to then see it didn't save anything except the first Author note... Not wanting to even think about it, I put it off and played some of The Last Of Us remastered on steam, which quickly made me happy again as it is PEAK. And it also helped me confirm my idea of writing a fic for that, but not yet! As I'm focused on this right now, but maybe soon, as I feel it would be much easier to plan out compared to the shitshow of retcons we call marvel, but anyways! Hope ya enjoyed again, and see you all in the next one!... and maybe throw me a stone or two, pretty please.
