*The next morning*
A loud crash echoed through the grand mansion as a glass cup shattered against the floor.
"Enzo! What the hell is wrong with you?!" Isabella screamed, her face twisted in anger.
Enzo stood near the large window, staring outside, his back turned to her. His hands were shoved into his pockets, and his jaw was clenched so tightly that a vein pulsed in his neck.
Isabella stormed toward him, her heels clicking furiously with each step. "Ever since Amelia left, you've been acting so damn strange! What's your problem, huh? Do you really think she's worth it?"
Enzo didn't move.
"I'm your wife, Enzo! Your wife!" she continued, her voice rising. "And yet, you don't even look at me! You don't touch me! You don't even try to act like my husband!" She scoffed bitterly. "What kind of marriage is this?"
Enzo finally exhaled, slow and controlled, before turning around. His dark eyes locked onto hers, unreadable, but there was something cold beneath them.
