The beast growled as the dust clears, it's scales had blacken and it's navy blue eyes where stained a dark crimson, it was as if it had evolved during the fight, though it hadn't fully recovered from the sudden array of attacks that had rained onto it
"Get close !" Mathew screamed while raising a handful of prices of torn cloth
They all listened, excluding Kessia who was dead locked onto Lelovia, one after another Mathew tied a cloth over there arms
A sudden rush of power ran through there bodies
"I asked Lelovia to make these before we got over here, high grade ruins, however in exchange for the strenght they grant the material which they are inscribed onto must be weak" Mathew explains
"Damn,this feels amazing" benjamin scoffs while inspecting himself
From across them Lara yells
"Get close, i cant continue to fight for much longer, but I can do one more thing for you all"
They ablige, Lara dispelles the summon and inscribes different ruins onto all of there bodies, each one corresponding with apart of the cat
"LELOVIA, AFTER WE'VE DEALT WITH THIS BEAST I DEMAND A REMATCH !" Kessia screams as she grips her staff
"Yeah whatever" Lelovia dismissively responds
A sharp shriek marks the recovery of the drake, it's claws and teeth almost seeping with mana
The beast rushes foward at break neck speeds followed by a strong gnaw aimed at Aurora, who dashes out of way and attempts to counter the attack, swing her sword at the age of the beast. The drake collapses it's neck backwards and begins to whir, a expulsion of heat follows
"Ah shit" heliop grunts as he dashes backwards, followed by the rest
The beast rears, digging its was into the ground and readying itself for the offensive
But a voice cuts through the chaos
"Leviate !" Lelovia screams as the beast js flung and suspended in the air, it curls itself into a ball, it's Belly hidden
"Thunderbolt !" Kessia screams
A bright light cuts the eyes of everyone followed by a roaring thump, the scene clears to reveal the crumpled drake unscathed
"Kreik" the beast screeches before erupting into flames
The spell gives out under the weight of the drake and it falls to the ground, it locks eyes with Lelovia and opens its mouth, mana is drawn towards the drake as the scales of the beast rise in tempurature becoming red hot
Lelovia yells in fear
"Protect !"
A pillar of flame erupts from the jaws of the drake, the shield that Lelovia had barely managed to put up in time nearly breaks under the incredible heat
The scales begin to cool, however the claws of the beast begin to rise in temperature
"Dont engage !" Aurora screams as the beast sprints the group
"Brace yourselves!" Aurora shouts as the drake barrels toward them, its molten breath searing the air.
"GlacialFall."echoes a voice from above
A massive chunk of ice plummets from above, crushing the drake under its sheer weight. Frost spreads across the ground as a lone figure descends gracefully, their robes billowing in the frigid air.
"Metrelar!" Davil gasps, eyes wide with shock. Without hesitation, he sprints toward metrelar and throws his arms around him.
"I thought I lost you, brother," Davil whispers, his voice breaking as he fights back tears.
Metrelar chuckles, ruffling Davil's hair. "No need for all that, Davil. I'm fine."
"How emotional, not quite what I expected from you two" Palio snarls from above, his mere being crackling with thunder
"Took the words from my mouth brother" Malcolm laughs
"Oh fuck off" davil sneers
Benjamin, watching the ice-encased drake, lets out a low whistle. "Holy shit." The beast appears frozen in time, its body suspended in eerie stillness.
"Is everyone alright?" Mathew asks, scanning the group.
"Yeah, for the most part," Aurora replies, gripping her weapon.
Nearby, Helar kneels beside Hale. "Are you hurt?" he asks, concern lacing his voice.
Hale shakes her head, eyes fixed on the ice. "I'm fine, but the ice won't hold it for long."
Lelovia places a hand on Hale's shoulder. "That was impressive."
Hale shrugs her off, stepping toward the frozen drake. "We're not allies. I stopped it for Metrelar's sake, nothing more."
Then—
Crack.
Sizzle.
Steam hisses from the fissures forming across the ice. Heat radiates outward as the drake stirs beneath its prison.
Hale tightens her grip on her staff. "Looks like I'll have to kick it up a notch."
Benjamin takes several steps back. "Ah, fuck. And here I thought it was dead."
"Everyone, run!" Lelovia shouts. "It's going to explode!"
The team scatters just as the ice erupts in a blinding flash of orange and yellow. Shards fly in every direction, the ground trembling beneath them.
Freed, the drake rears back and releases a deafening roar. Mana crackles in its throat, golden light pooling in its jaws.
Metrelar grins, stepping forward. "Round two, then."
The drake unleashes a searing beam of mana, obliterating everything in its path. The forest behind them is reduced to a smoldering ruin.
Benjamin dodges, then sprints toward the beast. "Alright, you ugly bastard, let's dance!"
"Damn it, Benjamin, can you wait?!" Mathew curses, rushing after him.

The first to strike is the deadly thunder, carving in the dragons back then Frost spreads in an instant, encasing the drake in a thick layer of crystalline ice.
"Go get your friend," Hale orders Mathew coldly. "We'll hold it off."
Mathew hesitates, then nods and rushes toward Benjamin. Lelovia is already at his side, healing him.
The ice shatters.
"Let's end this," Metrelar says, eyes burning with determination.
Davil smirks. "Yeah. Let's show these worms what we're made of."
Aurora steps forward, sword at the ready. "Count us in."
Mathew, Kessia, Helar, Palio and Malcolm fall into formation behind them.
Davil glances back at them. "Just try to keep up."
With that, they charge.
Steel flashes. Magic flares. They strike in unison, tearing through the drake's flesh—but it regenerates just as quickly. Again and again, they cut, burn, and freeze it, refusing to relent.

From the sidelines, two figures remain frozen in place.
"Are you two seriously just going to stand there?" Lelovia snaps at Heliop and Derrick.
Heliop swallows hard. "Uh—right! Let's go, Derrick!"
They charge in.
"PulseWave!" Lelovia shouts, launching a barrage of energy blasts at the drake's head.

Their attacks rip into the drake, sending molten blood spraying across the battlefield.
Yet still, it regenerates. Mana oozes from its body, its power surging. Flames erupt from its form as it roars in fury, preparing to obliterate them all.
"Everyone, fall back!" Lelovia commands. "Kessia, Hale, and I will set up a barrier!"
The team obeys, gathering as the five mages raise their staffs.
"Thy beautiful and glorious goddess Nytheris, protect thy children in your everlasting embrace… FULL PROTECT!"
A massive shield materializes just as the drake's relentless flames crash into them. The ground shakes, the barrier shuddering under the sheer force of the assault.
"That was close," Benjamin mutters.
Mathew scoffs. "Understatement of the year."
Lelovia's gaze sharpens. The shield is cracking.
She clenches her fists. "I'm sorry, Miseria… but I have to use it."
Suddenly, a voice cuts through the chaos.
"My lady, forgive my late arrival!"
A panting figure stumbles into view—Luke, covered in saliva and gasping for air.
Lara frowns, after having recovered some of her mana "Luke? What the hell happened to you?"
"I was ensnared by a carnivorous plant. Took me a while to escape." He bows. "If you wish to execute me for my failure, do so quickly."
Lara sighs. "Relax, I'm not my sister."
Benjamin glares. "Finally decided to show up, stepping stool?"
"Lay off, Benjamin," Lara warns. "We have bigger problems."
Benjamin sighs, pointing at the drake, still hammering at the shield. "Fine. But we need a plan."
Lelovia straightens. "Everyone who isn't a mage, get out of here. Now."
Mathew narrows his eyes. "Why?"
"Because we're about to unleash something devastating," she says. "If you stay, you might not survive."
No arguments. The fighters sprint into the forest, leaving only the mages behind.
Lelovia takes a deep breath. "Alright. We're going to combine our strongest spells."
Hale's eyes widen. "A fusion spell?"
Lelovia nods. "Get ready."
The air hums with raw energy as the mages pour everything they have into their spells.
By the toss and shatter of an orb the spells commence
