Xu Huaiying furrowed his brow, appearing utterly bewildered, which irked Chang Yuan greatly.

Xu Huaiying's immediate reaction was to think his Senior Brother was joking with him.

Claiming it was her doing seemed less believable to him than an invasion by an external enemy.
