*Kenichi's POV*
Kenichi: (Heh~ I got a little carried away with those last words).
I couldn't help but think that while looking at the remains left of the body of the Stray Devil I just killed. I have to admit it was a pretty grotesque sight, if I use anime terms I'm completely sure this falls into the Gore category.
But inexplicably, just like when I killed that group of lower level Youkais, I don't feel guilty at all, I'm not angry or happy either, if I had to express in words how I feel, then it would definitely be...
Indifferent...
I am completely indifferent to the fact that I just took a life, I wonder if this is because my opponent was not a human, it could also be because I know he was evil, but what is a fact, is that if I had not killed him the one who would be lying broken on the ground would be me.
Kenichi: (Although this may count as a real fight, I don't feel very satisfied).
It's not that this Stray devil was weak, after all, it only took one of his punches to break my arm. I'd say the problem was in the way he fought. For starters, although Devils are born with stronger bodies than normal humans, their abilities are usually more oriented towards using magic.
The only Devils who focus on developing their physical strength usually tend to be lower class Devils who are born with little demonic power, it is also the case for Devils who are born with no demonic power, such as Sairaorg Bael, though Devils like him are much more rare.
Usually these Devils, usually belong to the Peerage of some pure-blooded high-class devil, the piece that is given to them is the Rook. By acquiring this Evil Piece, the Devil or Devil reincarnated, acquires even more strength, which translates into a high level of attack and defense, the only disadvantage is that they are not very fast and can be easily overwhelmed by Devils that focus on fast attacks.
In this case, this Stray Devil was the clear definition of a Rook, it possessed an abnormally high defense, plus enough physical strength to seriously hurt me with a single attack.
Kenichi: (In my current state, I don't think I would have been able to win a direct combat, that's why I chose to fight using martial arts).
Although the Stray Devil's defense was high enough to make my fists hurt when I hit his body, his mobility and speed were complete crap. Being overwhelmed by my attacks he could only stand in place and do nothing. Though of course he wasn't completely defenseless, being a Devil he could also use magic.
Kenichi: (The first time I saw that Stray Devil, I noticed that its body was covered by a kind of black aura that could not be seen with the naked eye, although it looked a bit like Youki, its nature was completely different).
After evaluating what I knew about DxD, I came to the conclusion that this was the visual form of the "Maryoku (Demonic Power)".
The Maryoku is the power used by the Devils of DxD. All Devils from high class to low class, can use this form of power that allows them to create and control different supernatural phenomena for different forms of combat. From what I understand, for a Devil to be able to use Maryoku he first has to acquire the power of imagination, the power to create and common sense; however the main requirement to be able to use it is the amount he is born with.
The body of that Stray Devil was covered by a layer of Maryoku, every time he defended himself, the Maryoku that surrounded him became denser and consequently the hardness of his body increased, it could be said that he used it as a kind of barrier to increase even more the defense that the Evil Piece granted him.
Kenichi: (Even though the impact of my first blow sent him flying quite far away, unexpectedly it didn't do any apparent damage, that's why I took the opportunity to experiment a bit).
It turns out that when I used the Niko Style - Flame Kata: Flashfire to surround the Stray Devil and throw punches from all sides, it was not with the sole purpose of causing damage, I noticed that for some strange reason my punches hit with great precision in areas where the Maryoku fluctuated strangely, when my punches connected with those areas, the damage produced was quite devastating.
If there is something I know about barriers, thanks to anime and superhero comics, is that they are not indestructible, although apparently they can defend their user from most damage, they also have several weaknesses which can be:
-They may be weak against users of penetrating and defense-breaking attacks.
-They may be limited in the size/shape/duration of the barrier.
-The barrier may weaken or become unstable in times of high psychological pressure.
-Some objects or energies may not be retained or contained by the barrier.
-It may only be able to block certain types of attacks.
These are just a few of the many weaknesses that barriers can have, from what I could tell this Stray Devil's barrier showed the weakness of becoming unstable in times of high pressure and it also seems that it was meant to protect him from other types of attacks.
Kenichi: (When he was talking to himself, I could hear him saying that he was able to defend himself from Rias Gremory's attacks and those of all the members of his Peerage, so I guess his Maryoku barrier was meant to protect him from magical attacks, but as a side effect it also increased his defense against physical attacks).
After some thought, I came to the conclusion that I was able to accurately hit the weak points of the barrier thanks to my "Instinct" skill, this is a skill from the Type-Moon universe, which originally belonged to Artoria Pendragon and has several uses that are incredibly convenient during combat.
I could also notice that the Stray Devil's Maryoku was moving erratically at times, my Instinct along with my Danger Sense warned me at those times, so I assume that the Devil Stray intended to use magic.
I could have made the fight more interesting if I let him use magic, but I preferred not to give him the chance.
No offense to Dragon Ball or other classic anime, but in my opinion, it's completely stupid to wait for your enemy to finish his special technique or transformation during a fight that is life or death. This Stray Devil followed that same logic, for some strange reason he stayed still in his place as if he was waiting for me to give him the chance to cast his magic.
Kenichi: (Although in an anime that looks cool, this is real life. During a fight both enemies are supposed to adapt to the opponent's way of fighting and create the opportunity to launch their special attack).
Of course I wasn't lying when I said he was the perfect opponent I was looking for. So far no one had been able to resist the force of my blows, but he was able to resist them and not just one but many. So this served me quite a bit as a reference to know at what level my current strength is if I compare it to other supernatural beings.
Currently my physical strength is slightly above the lower class Devils and may be higher if I add different martial arts. Although I don't try it yet, in the future I also want to train with the martial arts of the characters from "Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple". This is a manga/anime that curiously has a protagonist with the same name as me, that's why I kind of have an affinity with his fighting style.
All the martial artists in that story who have reached Master rank can master "Ki". Of course I am not referring to the Ki of Dragon Ball or Shinmai Maou no Testament, you could say that this Ki is the willpower of martial artists, those who master it can drastically increase their attack and defense power to inhuman levels with proper training and control.
Kenichi: (Because of my heritage as a Hero, I should also be able to master the Ki used in Shinmai Maou no Testament, but I'll leave that for the future, for now it's better that I concentrate on developing my human and Youkai side).
Although this fight was not to my liking, thanks to it I was able to obtain several useful things, especially...
===============================
*You managed to meet a Stray Devil for the first time*
You received: Standard Nichirin Katana
===============================
*You managed to defeat a Stray Devil as a human without the aid of any special weapon, external power or race*
You received: Kiro Kiro no Mi
===============================
*You managed to kill a Stray Devil with no mercy whatsoever*
You received: Fire Devil Slayer Magic
===============================
That's right, the achievement system that had been inactive for several days, was activated again and as usual it gave me several incredible rewards.
Until now I still don't understand what is the specific criteria for giving me rewards, I know it's for doing something important during my daily life and for getting involved in the stories of other anime. But then, why didn't I receive any rewards when I trained with my Youkai blood? Are all my lineages rewards and therefore not considered as achievements?.
Kenichi: (Putting aside those unanswered questions, I have to admit that these are some amazing rewards and they are all related in some way to the Demons).
First there was the Nichirin Katana.
===============================
Name: Standard Nichirin Katana
Rank: C (Common)
Origin: Kimetsu no Yaiba
Description: A special Katana used by Demon Slayers, it was created specifically for the purpose of killing Demons. It was forged with Scarlet Crimson Iron Sand and Scarlet Ore, both found in high mountains such as Sunlight Mountain, bathed by sunlight throughout the year on Mount Yoko.
Although aesthetically it looks like an ordinary Katana, once the host unsheathes it for the first time, it will acquire a distinctive color, this trait made the Nichirin Katanas commonly known as: "Color Changing Katanas".
Important: Although this Katana is effective against supernatural beings such as Devils, Demons and Youkais, it is still only slightly better than normal Katanas, so if it is not used with the proper Breathing Style, the chances of it breaking are quite high.
===============================
This is a special Katana that belongs to a Manga/Anime called "Kimetsu no Yaiba". It tells the story of an organization called "Kisatsutai (Demon Slayer Corp)", the members of this organization are known as Demon Slayers and their main job is to hunt and kill the "Oni (Demons)".
The Demons in that story are basically immortal beings, whose only weakness is sunlight, but in the story it was shown that this Katana that was forged with different solar minerals is capable of killing Demons.
Not a bad reward though... The only problem is...
Kenichi: (In this world this Katana is of no use to me at all)
Don't get me wrong, if I perfectly master any Breathing style, even a Katana like this one should be able to easily kill a Stray Devil like the one just now. The problem is that I already own a powerful sword like Tessaiga, Elucidator, Dark Repulser, even the Youkai Swords and even the Sengoku Basara characters' weapons, all of which are much more powerful than this Katana, so I honestly don't see much use for it.
Kenichi: (Besides, in this world there are no Demons like the ones in Kimetsu no Yaiba, so there's no reason for me to risk using this Katana that can break at any time against opponents who have magical defenses).
After thinking that, I took out the Nichirin Katana from the system storage and to my surprise it was just like the first Katana that the protagonist Kamado Tanjiro received, although since he didn't master any kind of sword style, the Katana didn't change color and stayed the same color as any other normal Katana.
After that, move on to review the description of the second reward.
===============================
Name: Kiro Kiro no Mi
Rank: R (Rare)
Origin: One Piece
Type: Paramecia
Description: An "Akuma no Mi (Devil Fruit)" that allows the host to vary its weight from 1 to 10,000 kg without affecting its body size. Even with a higher weight, the host can move normally, without its weight affecting its movements.
Important: Being in another world, this Akuma no Mi is no longer bound by the rules of the One Piece world, therefore it does not possess the weakness of making its user be rejected by the sea and it does not have the limitation that its user cannot consume other Akuma no Mi.
===============================
I have to admit that I am somewhat surprised to receive as a reward one of the famous Akuma no Mi from the One Piece anime. Although I suppose it's not strange either, Akuma no Mi usually give those who eat them various types of abilities, although several of them are quite powerful, others have quite common or even useless abilities.
In the world of One Piece, there are some mysterious and peculiar fruits scattered around the world, they are known for giving their consumers supernatural powers that go beyond logic, as well as for taking away their ability to swim in sea water. These fruits are called "Akuma no Mi" and much of the story revolves around the powers their consumers receive.
There are three types of Akuma no Mi, which are: Paramecia, Zoan and Logia.
Among these three, the Paramecia type fruits are the most common and numerous, in basic terms, these fruits can grant their consumer any power, except for the Zoan's ability to transform or the Logia's ability to become a natural element.
Kenichi: (From what little they showed this fruit in the main story, I can safely say that it is incredibly underrated, or more specifically has great potential that was unexplored. It has been shown in the One Piece story that even a normal Akuma no Mi like Donquixote Doflamingo's Ito Ito no Mi can have a terrifying growth if developed properly).
This ability in comparison is much simpler and more straightforward than those granted by other Akuma no Mi, it only increases or lightens the user's weight without affecting his mobility.
If this ability is developed properly and other skills such as Busoshoku Haki are added, it can become an incredible offensive and defensive arsenal. In addition, all Akuma no Mi have an awakened form that further increases their power.
After analyzing the description I made the Kiro Kiro no Mi appear in my hand. It was pink in color and had a cylindrical shape with the typical spiral pattern on its skin. It also had a thick green T-shaped stem at the top.
Kenichi: (Although it's an amazing ability, I think I'll keep it for the time being... In the story of One Piece there is another Akuma no Mi that you could say is an improved version of this one that increases the weight in Tons. If I receive this fruit in the future, it may go to waste, so for the moment it makes the most sense to keep it).
I was looking at the fruit for a while and curiously I couldn't feel anything about it. Other than its comical appearance, there was nothing about it that caught my attention, it was as if it was just an ordinary fruit, no one seeing it for the first time would think it could give you a special power that transcends logic.
If you're wondering why I'm making this comparison, it's because all my other rewards so far, have had a kind of distinctive aura that makes anyone realize just by looking at them that they're not normal, but instead I don't perceive that aura in this Akuma no Mi. Although that's not strange either, even in One Piece a lot is unknown about them.
Kenichi: (Unfortunately my ability to see in alternate realities doesn't show me the future, so I'm watching One Piece at the same pace as the fans, the only difference is that I don't have to sit for months to watch the 1000+ episodes of the anime).
After watching it for a few more minutes, I put it away and went on to look at the description of the last reward.
===============================
Name: Fire Devil Slayer Magic
Rank: UR (Ultra Rare)
Origin: Fairy Tail
Type: Lost Magic
Description: This form of Devil Slayer magic allows the host to use the element of fire for various purposes. Its most basic and potent ability is its ability to consume nearby fire to regain strength and become immune to its effects, as well as granting the host a high level of immunity to fire.
It also allows him to obtain information about a Demon just by observing it for a second. This includes abilities such as curses and curse magic. As exorcists, Devil Slayers have the ability to kill and/or exorcise demonic power by exerting their magical power on the target; in other words they use the demonic side of their magic.
The fire produced by this magic is considered the fire of the underworld, it is a curse in the form of fire that cannot be extinguished by water or wind of normal origin, those who come in contact with this fire suffer burns that can only be cured by some kind of holy magic, besides it is especially harmful to Demons.
Disadvantages: Excessive use of Devil Slayer Magic can end up turning the host into a true Demon, it is a process known as "Demonization". This can cause the host to "Demonize" and be affected by black marks that will spread all over his body.
===============================
Kenichi: (This is definitely the jackpot).
We're talking about one of the most powerful types of magic in the Fairy Tail anime, a Slayer type magic.
In the story of Fairy Tail, all the characters used magic to fight, throughout the story many unique magics with quite broken effects were seen, among them was Lost Magic, a powerful type of magic that was erased from the history of the world due to its immense power and the danger its side effects carried for the users of such magic.
Among the Lost Magic, there was a powerful type of magic that is the main focus of the story, this is the Slayer Magic, is a type of magic that was developed specifically to combat magical beings such as Demons, Dragons and Gods.
The one I just received is considered the weakest of the three types of Slayer Magic, Devil Slayer Magic. It has all the basic qualities of the other two Slayer Magic, with the difference that this one was created to hunt Demons, so it's not very effective against Dragons and Gods.
Kenichi: (Although I'm a little surprised, in all the history of Fairy Tail, the only Devil Slayer Magic they showed was Gray Fullbuster's, which was of the ice element, but the one I received is of fire, that means that this magic is not part of the canon, this definitely opens new possibilities among the rewards that I can receive).
To begin with, the story of Fairy Tail focused more on the Dragon Slayer Magic, throughout the story they presented more than ten Dragon Slayers, on the other hand the Devil Slayer Magic only had one user and the God Slayer three, besides the details about the latter two were much scarcer compared to the Dragon Slayer Magic.
The only point that worries me a bit about this magic is...
*Demonization*
This is one of the disadvantages of all Slayer Magic. If they are used too often, the user runs the risk of being transformed into a magical being.
(A/N: Although I don't know if the God Slayers also have the secondary effect of becoming Gods, the creator was very vague with the details of this magic).
Kenichi: (Although the possibility of me becoming a Demon if I use this magic is a bit worrying, maybe I shouldn't pay so much attention to it, I'm already a hybrid of different races to begin with, so it's unknown what side effects it can have on me. Besides, if I know something about the magic of the Fairy Tail world, it's its close relationship with feelings).
In either Devil Slayers or Dragon Slayers, when their body starts to show signs of transformation a plant-like organism forms inside their bodies, this organism is known for Devil Slayers as "Demon Seed" and for Dragon Slayers as "Dragon Seed". It is this seed that initiates the Demonization and Dragonization process.
Although in the case of a Demon Slayer Demonization is not as extreme as Dragonization, it can even be controlled to a certain extent.
Kenichi: (The world of Fairy Tail has a strange logic to begin with, maybe if I stay true to myself I can ignore the disadvantageous effects of Demonization and keep only the benefits).
After thinking that, I accepted the reward and at the same time my body lit up with a purple glow that lasted only a few seconds.
...
...
...
Kenichi: "..."
I couldn't help but stare at the horizon with a blank stare.
Kenichi: (And that's it... That wasn't too fast... For a moment I thought I was going to have to go through a painful experience again, but unexpectedly everything happened so smoothly and naturally... How should I say this... It wasn't too simple)
In the small fraction of seconds that my body glowed, all the information about the Fire Devil Slayer Magic was transferred to my brain, including how to use it.
Kenichi: (Although now that I think about it... Even though Slayer Magic is a Lost Magic, it's not very difficult to learn, Gray Fullbuster inherited Ice Devil Slayer Magic from his father after he died, Natsu Dragneel and several other Dragon Slayers learned it by training, others got it from Lacrimas, Dragon Eater got it by eating Dragons, even God Slayer Sherria Blendy learned her magic from a book, so if you take into account its disadvantages it's not really impossible or complicated to learn).
Although of course this magic follows a different logic than the magic of this world, so even if I wanted to learn it on my own it wouldn't work.
The magic of the Fairy Tail world is the physical embodiment of spirit. When the physical spirit of an organism connects with the spiritual flow of nature, it creates magic as a product of that connection. Although magic transcends reason, it is born of it and requires enormous concentration and mental capacity to use it. Magical powers are also linked to the life force and the intensity of feelings also plays an important role in the ability to use magic correctly.
After analyzing about what I know about magic in the Fairy Tail world, I curiously observed how my arm started to heal slowly thanks to the Battle Healing skill.
I could also feel some changes in my body when I accepted Devil Slayer Magic, so I decided to take a look at my status.

Agility: 85 ⇨ 87
Stamina: 110
Defense: 85 ⇨ 87
Intelligence: 55
Luck: 20 / +9999999 (One lucky EX day per week)
Youki: 155.000
Osore (Fear): 0
===============================
Although my parameters increased a little, it wasn't a big deal, at most they increased by two points, I guess this is nothing to be surprised about, although the Stray Devil was strong, it didn't force me to exceed my limits.
What did change, is that now my mana parameter disappeared and a new bar appeared below the HP one, from the knowledge I have of the games, this new bar that says MP is the one that shows me the amount of Mana I possess.
I have to admit that I was a bit surprised, just a moment ago my Mana was only 55 points, but when I received the Devil Slayer Magic, it increased another 50 points.
Curious, I tried to use the Fire Devil Slayer Magic. The beginning wasn't that complicated, besides that in the past I already used the Youki to launch elemental attacks, the feeling is similar, so it didn't cost me much to use this magic.
After concentrating for a few seconds, I extended my hand and in front of it a purple magic circle was activated, although it was surrounded by several strange symbols, in the center I could identify the symbol of the face of a Demon, it had a slight resemblance to the Demon Face of the Hanma.
Once the magic circle vanished, a small purple flame lit up on the palm of my hand. Although I should feel happy to be able to use such a special magic, the fact that the flame was the same size as one produced by a lighter, I was a little disappointed.
Kenichi: (I guess this result is obvious, this is not a simple fire magic, so it is natural that it consumes a larger amount of Mana, this small flame alone was enough to subtract 30 MP points from my MP, plus I feel a little tired).
Without saying anything else, I shot the small purple flame in the direction where the remains of the Stray Devil were, and to my surprise at the moment the flame made contact it expanded and in a matter of seconds completely incinerated what was left of the body of the Stray Devil to the point that only his ashes were left.
Kenichi: (Okey... That was unexpected)
Although I already knew that these flames were especially effective against Demons, I never thought it would be to this extent. In Fairy Tail, no matter how strong the magic was, the enemies almost always received minor injuries, in a sense they were very similar to Pokémon, only when the situation got complicated did the attacks suddenly cause fatal wounds.
So I was a bit surprised to see how my fire burned a body as if it was nothing. I guess just like the Akuma no Mi, being from another world, this magic is also not bound by the rules of the Fairy Tail world.
Kenichi: (These purple flames remind me a bit of the flames produced by Jigoku no Gouka. Although it's not as hot as that flame, it definitely has properties that make them similar.... I wonder what effect it will have on my body if I try to eat the flames produced by Jigoku no Gouka. When Natsu consumed another type of fire, it always gained immense power, even though it was only temporary).
At the moment there's not much point for me to think about that, I can experiment later when my MP increases. From what I know about Fairy Tail, magic is also related to physical condition, so if my MP drops to 0, it's quite possible that I'll be unconscious, but that's not a problem either.
Thanks to my ability to see in Fairy Tail reality, I already know several ways of training to increase my magic power. Also if I increase my MP I should also be able to use the magic that humans use in DxD, in addition to the spiritual magic I inherited from the heroes' lineage.
After that I spent the rest of the weekend doing different types of training to increase my magic power.
The magic I received already tells me how to use it and even the different types of special spells I can use, the only problem is that most of the Fire Devil Slayer Magic attacks consume a large amount of magic power, with the magic power I currently have, I can only form a small flame the size of a ping pong ball.
Although that small flame is enough to easily kill any human and Stray Devil, it is far from being at its maximum level.
Putting together the knowledge I have of the magic of the Fairy Tail world, I know that there are at least three ways to increase my magical power, which are:
-Training my physical condition: The only problem with this method, is that it is quite slow, I tried very hard and my MP only increased a few points.
-Meditate: This method is the simplest, but although it works quite well, it is only a little faster than training my physical condition, plus it requires great concentration.
-Continually use magic until the Mana is completely depleted: Throughout the history of Fairy Tail, it has been shown that by continuously depleting the Mana, it is possible to increase the amount after recovering, this is the most exhausting and painful method, but at the same time the most effective.
Although all three methods have their difficulties, the most convenient for Slayer Magic users is definitely the third method. Unlike the normal mage who has to wait for several hours or even days for his Mana to fully recover, Slayer Magic users can simply eat the same item their magic is made of to immediately replenish the Mana spent.
In my case, by simply eating some fire I can quickly replenish the magic power I expend. Eating food also helps, but it's at a much slower rate.
Kenichi: (I still find the sensation of eating fire strange... Being an element it's not supposed to have a taste, but for some strange reason when I eat or inhale fire, I can clearly feel like I'm eating some food.)
I was so excited to experiment with this magic, that I put aside my martial arts training temporarily and dedicated myself only to increase my Mana, thanks to that my MP has increased a lot, to the point that now I am able to cast some spells.
Although so far everything has been going on without any problems...
These last few days I've noticed something a bit worrying...
Since that day, suddenly more Stray Devils have been appearing in the city, fortunately they always choose places with little traffic to hide, I guess that even though they lost the ability to reason they are still aware that it is not convenient for them to draw attention to themselves.
I wonder who is the one who has been taking care of eliminating these things after my father died. I don't think it's Toujou Jin, from what I remember that guy keeps traveling all the time, so the chances of him keeping an eye on this town all the time are pretty low, and not to mention Basara, until the story of Shinmai Maou no Testament starts he's practically useless.
After thinking for a while, I only came up with one person.
Kenichi: (Ameno Sagiri)
She is one of the main heroines of Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san, plus she belongs to the "Demon Slaying Ninja Army" or also known as "Chuuma Ninja". A group of Ninjas composed only by women, who use spiritual abilities to protect the population of Japan from the attacks of the Youkais and any other supernatural being that seeks to do evil. Like the Saruyama family, they are an independent force that is not affiliated with any faction, their organization consists of several branches around Japan.
Kenichi: (In my opinion, this organization is much more heroic and noble than the hero clan that focuses solely on fighting Demons).
Although I have never spoken directly with her, I have met her a couple of times at school. She is a girl with beautiful purple colored hair that is tied in a side ponytail that is held up with a shuriken-like hair decoration on the left side and her eyes are green in color.
Kenichi: (I feel like talking to her... But the fact that she attends another class and I'm a hanyou complicates things a bit. The other day when we met by chance, I could notice how she looked at me with some hostility, so I can assume that she unlike Basara, if she is aware of my Youkai heritage.)
I think the chances that she has been the protector of this town for the past few years is quite high. She is currently living in Yuragi-sou for the purpose of observing and establishing ties with Arahabaki Nonko, but even so, she is still diligently doing her job of protecting people from the attacks of supernatural beings.
While it's true that I want to talk to her, I'm not in a hurry at the moment, I'm more focused on getting stronger, so it suits me to have these Stray Devils enter the city, they are the perfect practice dummies to improve my skills and to gain experience.
In these last two days, I have already encountered at least eight different types of Stray Devils. Although they are usually not that strong, some of them have distinctive abilities or magics that make them ideal training partners, plus I take the opportunity to get rid of trash, so I kill two birds with one stone.
A good example is this Stray Devil currently standing in front of me.
Stray Devil: "DAMN IT!!! WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!!! YOU ARE DEFINITELY NOT HUMAN!!!"
Unlike the first Stray Devil I defeated, this one had a humanoid form, with several deformities in various areas of his body, especially his head, plus he had 8 octopus tentacles on the sides of his body. I admit that having a humanoid form it was faster than the other Stray Devils I have faced so far, but I wouldn't say it was especially strong, when it approached it would attack me with its tentacles and when it moved away it would throw some kind of wind magic at me.
But the moment he realized he wasn't going to be able to defeat me in a physical fight, he decided to use his Devil wings to attack me from afar with his wind magic.
Kenichi: (Although I already knew what the Devils' wings looked like from the anime, I have to admit that they look pretty ridiculous in reality).
Putting aside my ridiculous thoughts, I decided to see this as a good opportunity to test the fruits of my training.
Kenichi: "Honōma no Gekikō (Fire Devil's Rage)!!"
This is the most basic spell that all Slayer Magic users have, it consists of concentrating magical power in the mouth, and then releasing it against the opponent, creating a large explosive torrent.
The moment I concentrated the magic power in my mouth as I inhaled, the characteristic magic circle of Fire Devil Slayer Magic appeared in front of my mouth. After accumulating enough magic power I released it in the direction of the Stray Devil.
Stray Devil: "W-WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!! DEMONIC POWER?!! HYAAAAAA!!!"
Surprised by my sudden attack. The Stray Devil had no time to flee and was swallowed by the explosion caused by the impact of my purple fire.
*BOOMM!*
The attack lasted only a few seconds, but during that brief moment I could clearly hear the cries of lamentation and pain of the Stray Devil.
When my attack finally ended, in the sky I could only see a completely charred body, after a few seconds it fell to the ground and the moment its body hit the ground, it was completely destroyed and turned into ashes.
Kenichi: "Haa... Haa... Haa..."
It may be annoying to fight against these Stray Devils every day, but at the same time it is quite beneficial for my training. Also, thanks to Battle Healing I've been able to heal myself without any problems from the wounds some of them have caused me.
Although my progress with Fire Devil Slayer Magic has been quite fast, I'm still quite far from the power that Natsu's fire had at the beginning of the Fairy Tail story. On the bright side, just by receiving a single attack from this magic, the Stray Devils die instantly. I don't know how effective this magic is with stronger Devils, but lower class Devils die practically instantly, so I assume it's just as harmful to them as holy magic.
At the moment, the most practical and economical way to use this magic is to increase the offensive power of my fists by coating them with fire. Also, I found that if I use a sword and coat it with Fire Devil Slayer Magic, the Mana consumption is also lower.
Stray Devil #2: "So you're the one who's been killing my teammates these past few days! I was curious to know, who was the damn son of a bitch that ruined my perfectly crafted plan? But it turns out it was just a mere human! Well... I guess I couldn't expect much from some simple Stray Devil I picked up off the streets..."
While I was lost in my thoughts, a new Stray Devil reappeared minutes after defeating the previous one, this one just like the previous one, also had a humanoid appearance, but its face was much more grotesque than the previous one.
Kenichi: (Why do these guys behave like RPG side villains? Each one comes and says the same cliche lines about how the Devil before him was weak and they're the strongest, but the reality is that the powers of all these guys are almost the same, plus they all follow the same attack pattern).
If I learned anything from these guys during these last days, is that there is no point in talking to them, they are just psychopaths with an abnormally high ego for how weak they really are. That's a characteristic shared by most DxD villains, they talk as if they were the most powerful beings in the world, but the reality is that their power is barely acceptable.
Stray Devil #2: "HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! This is one of the most ridiculous things that ever happened to me! You don't know how much it cost me to gather these useless Stray Devils! And all so they could be killed by a pathetic human! Now my plan to slowly kill everyone in this city is ruined! How do you plan to make it up to me?!!"
Without any desire to listen to this idiot any longer, I simply took Elucidator out of the system storage and when I quickly attached it I began to accumulate magic power in it. After experimenting a bit, I realized that SAO swords are perfect conductors of magic power, so in a sense these swords are ideal for use with magic.
Stray Devil #2: "W-WHAT IS THAT?!"
To the Stray Devil's surprise, my sword was covered in a layer of purple fire, if I learned anything from killing Stray Devils all these days, is that they are all afraid of Devil Slayer Magic, for them to use this magic, it's not that different from attacking them with the holy element of angels.
Kenichi: "Honōma no Ken (Fire Devil's Sword)!!"
In a matter of seconds, Elucidator's blade was completely surrounded by purple fire. Being imbued with Devil Slayer Magic, this sword in no way lost against holy swords like DxD's Excalibur, currently this is the best way for me to use magic without my magic power draining fast.
Stray Devil #2: "W-Wait... W-We can come to an agreement... I promise you that if you let me go I won't kill any more humans... "
Ignoring his pleas, I swung my sword casually...
And in the next second, the Stray Devil's body was already split in half, the good thing about fire magic is that I can kill these guys without making their deaths look grotesque, the part I cut was perfectly burnt and not a bit of his blood leaked out. Then I simply burned the rest of his body to ashes.

Although the progress of my physical parameters was slow, my MP increased a lot in just two days, I think that fighting continuously and constantly spending my Mana contributed a lot to this increase.
Kenichi: (With this level of Mana is enough for the moment, I'm going to concentrate on fighting using my physical strength for the next few days...)
I have to admit that the Devil Slayer Magic, was quite useful, although I still have many aspects to discover about this magic, in the future it will definitely become one of my main arsenals, plus thanks to this magic I just gained even more flame resistance, so now the time I can use Jigoku no Gouka was also extended.
For the moment my plan is to increase my physical stats as much as I can and when they don't increase anymore I will accept the mission to fight against the Galala Gator.
Kenichi: (I know it may be a bit hasty, but if I want to get stronger quickly, I have to take certain risks. Unlike the protagonists who have all the time in the world to become strong, I'm aware that in the coming months or years, global and planetary level threats will appear. If I want to be strong enough to deal with them, I have to try harder!)
After thinking that, I slowly went home, ready for another day.
*Narrator's POV*
While Kenichi remained ignorant of any danger. In a place far away, much farther than Earth, no, even farther than that, outside the solar system.
The galaxy that was normally peaceful and silent was now completely engulfed in chaos.
In the hectic situation, they could see the image of an incredibly futuristic looking spaceship, cruising at a speed impossible for any transport on Earth, moving and dodging all the shots it was taking from three other spaceships that were almost as futuristic.
It was a scene straight out of science fiction, in fact, if Kenichi had seen it, he would have definitely commented that they were blatantly plagiarizing Star Wars.
You could even see a fucking "Death Star" in the distance!
But ignoring the narrator's nonsensical ramblings. The ship continued to move forward gracefully, dodging without any difficulty the large number of Laser beams fired at it by the other spaceships.
Spaceship (Leader): "Tch... Even after deploying so many people, how come we're not able to stop a single spaceship?"
As the one who seemed to be the leader of those chasing the spaceship complained, suddenly the spaceship increased its speed even more, quickly leaving them behind.
Spaceship #1: "The target is increasing its speed... At this rate we're going to lose sight of it..."
Spaceship (Leader): "Switching to combat level orange... Use of type C weaponry is permitted... Do not allow her to escape for any reason... You have to catch her whatever it takes!"
Spaceship #1: "Understood!"
Spaceship #2: "Understood!"
Spaceship #3: "Understood!"
When they heard the words of their leader, everyone quickly began to activate all the heavy weapons of their spaceships. They were completely ready to attack in earnest, pressing some safety buttons, all the spaceships simultaneously fired a large amount of missiles that traveled at a terrifying speed, in a matter of a few seconds, they hit the spaceship they were following without any problem.
???: "HYAAAAAAAA!!!"
Inside the spaceship could be heard the scream of what was apparently a woman, although she had a helmet that completely covered her face, anyone could tell that she was a very beautiful woman, seeing her body that was covered by an incredibly tight space suit.
The woman could not help but scream from the impact caused by the missiles crashing into her spaceship. The spaceship slowly stopped moving, releasing several beams of electricity, a clear sign of the bad state she was in, but the other spaceships didn't care, they simply moved closer, surrounding her slowly.
Spaceship (Leader): "Hmm... Looks like this is as far as you're going to go."
How can I? How can I give up in a place like this?
The woman wasn't about to let them catch her...
So with her last breath she pulled one of the levers of her spaceship, the moment she did it, as if ignoring all the damage received, the spaceship moved at great speed leaving behind all the other spaceships, and when she was at a good distance, with a flash of light she disappeared from the sight of all those who were chasing her...
Spaceship (Leader): "SHIT!!! IT ESCAPED!!!"
