Chapter 161 - Chapter 161 So Fooled!

"Experiment?"

Kisame couldn't help but shiver.

Naruto's experiments were as unpredictable as a sudden illness. Kisame wanted to refuse outright, but since he was already Naruto's underling, failing his first task would make him seem insincere.

Despite his deep reluctance, Kisame nodded firmly and declared, "I'm willing!"

Seeing this, Naruto shook his head helplessly.

'The Weapon Blessing was meant to strengthen Kisame's abilities, but why does Kisame behave as if he was heading to his execution?'

Soon, the two arrived at Itachi's room.

It can't be helped. Naruto cannot just keep it to himself, as withholding things would cause imbalance and suspicion among his subordinates, which wouldn't end well.

'Being the boss wasn't easy.'

"Kisame, bring out Samehada." Naruto instructed.

"Okay, okay!"

Kisame treated Samehada like a blood brother, but when faced with Naruto's experiment, he didn't hesitate to sacrifice Samehada to save himself.

After all, a real brother is the one who takes the hit for you.

At this moment, Samehada appeared much smaller and abnormally weak. It is obvious that it is still in a drained state.

Even if it wanted to resist Naruto, it couldn't muster the strength to move.

"Relax, I'll have it bouncing with life in no time."

Naruto picked up Samehada and then silently activated Weapon Blessing in his mind.

Buzz!

The next moment, a beam of golden light descended from the sky, landing squarely on Samehada.

Immediately, Samehada's entire body seemed to undergo a baptism, radiating a brilliant golden glow.

"It's stronger now!" Kisame exclaimed in shock.

Having been with Samehada for so long, Kisame knew it like the back of his hand. Though Samehada's body was still small now, it was brimming with vitality and energy.

"Stronger? Doesn't seem like much to me," Naruto remarked, unimpressed.

In Naruto's eyes, Samehada was merely glowing and there didn't seem to be any significant changes.

"Naruto-kun, I hope you could let it absorb some of your Chakra. You'll feel the difference directly." Kisame pleaded nervously.

"Sure, no big deal. Let it absorb to its heart's content," Naruto said with a casual smile. Chakra was the least of his worries.

After all, Kyubi's Chakra was virtually infinite. Kurama could absorb Natural Energy and convert it into Chakra, providing a never-ending supply.

But when the now golden-glowing Samehada bit Naruto's finger, Naruto suddenly felt fear and unease.

That's right, unease!

For a moment, he genuinely thought his Chakra might be drained completely.

Samehada acted like a balloon, inflating to the size of a basketball in the blink of an eye.

After another ten seconds, Samehada returned to its normal size.

But within just one minute, it expanded to ten meters, breaking through the ceiling before stopping.

The ten-meter-long Samehada, glowing with golden light, resembled a small sun, dazzling and radiant.

"What the hell!"

Naruto exclaimed in shock, as this had gone beyond Samehada's original scope entirely.

'No wonder I felt my Chakra depleting rapidly… Such massive consumption was indeed difficult to bear.'

At that moment, Naruto recalled the skill description: the blessing would increase a weapon's strength by a certain value.

Strength and intelligence, when translated by the system, equated to Chakra.

Since the higher limit was increased, it became clear why Samehada could grow to such an enormous size.

'This was incredible … a single Weapon Blessing had forcefully raised the weapon's potential ceiling.'

Although it was partly due to the system's enhancement of the reward and the fact that Samehada was no ordinary weapon, the drastic transformation it underwent was far beyond Naruto's expectations.

What initially seemed like a mediocre ability had now become a prized skill in Naruto's mind.

'As expected, there is no bad buff skill.'

"Hmm? If you can't handle it, hurry up and give some Chakra to me."

Seeing that the golden light flashing on Samehada's body gradually weakened, Kisame realized that something was wrong.

Thankfully, Samehada quickly began giving the Chakra to Kisame, and since Kisame was already in a drained state, they narrowly avoided a catastrophic overcharge.

"Very well, the experiment is over. Overall, I'd call it a success." Naruto nodded with satisfaction.

Feeling the abundance of pure Chakra within him, Kisame couldn't hide his joy, "The purity of the Chakra has also improved significantly. Naruto-kun, what exactly was that experiment?"

Naruto explained, "This is another ability of my Sharingan. It enhances weapons, but the downside is that it only lasts for two minutes."

Naruto had grown smarter now. As long as there are special abilities, he would attribute them all to his Sharingan. Anyway, only Orochimaru knows the real Dojutsu of his Sharingan, so he could fabricate whatever he wanted without needing other excuses.

This was another great use of the Sharingan: turning the implausible into something reasonable.

After hearing what Naruto said, Kisame didn't question it. After all, it was the Sharingan, so it sounded perfectly plausible.

Even Itachi, who possessed a Sharingan himself, couldn't find fault and instead commented with a hint of envy, "Naruto-kun's Sharingan is truly formidable."

"By the the way, Itachi, you might not know this yet… Kisame has agreed to be my subordinate." Naruto added.

There was no need to hide this from Itachi. Naruto had just been so focused on the Weapon Blessing experiment that he'd momentarily forgotten to mention it.

"Naruto-kun, do you think he's trustworthy?" Itachi asked back.

Before Naruto could respond, Kisame interjected indignantly, "Itachi, what's that supposed to mean? Naruto-kun has treated me well, and I willingly chose to follow him. I've already decided to stop being a spy for others and focus entirely on being Naruto-kun's subordinate."

"Really?" Itachi raised a brow, surprised. He hadn't expected Kisame to so openly admit to his past as a spy. It seemed that he was sincere, but one could never rule out the possibility of a double-agent scenario.

After some thought, Itachi proposed, "Naruto-kun, perhaps you should have him sign a contract as well."

"Contract? What contract?" Kisame was a little confused.

Naruto explained, "It's a binding agreement of absolute obedience. Once signed, you won't be able to disobey any of my orders."

"Of course! No problem at all!" Kisame answered resolutely without hesitation.

"Huh?"

Even Itachi, who rarely showed emotion, was taken aback. He couldn't understand and asked, "Kisame, what kind of spell has Naruto cast on you?"

"Itachi, what kind of nonsense is that? Are you looking for a fight?" Naruto said with some annoyance.

Itachi frowned and said, "Something's off. This afternoon, Kisame was still hostile toward you. How could he submit to you so quickly? And most importantly, my observational skills tell me Kisame isn't lying in the slightest. If it's not some kind of mind control, I can't think of any other explanation."

"Uh..." Naruto found Itachi's reasoning surprisingly sound, and for a moment, he was unable to refute it.

It was Kisame who spoke up, "Naruto-kun told me many things that shattered my understanding. His Sharingan can see through a person's fate, the past, present, and future. Naruto-kun said that following him would make me stronger and better, and I've already felt it. The enhancements he gave me and Samehada far exceeded my expectations. If I can double my strength in full boost mode, why wouldn't I trust him?"

"See through fate? How is that possible?" Itachi said skeptically, believing Naruto was bluffing Kisame. After all, he was well aware of Naruto's acting skills.

"Oh? You don't believe me?"

Naruto smirked, his eyes flashing mischievously, "There are still some unknown details about your past, such as what happened between you and Shisui, and the true effect of Kotoamatsukami. Want me to lay it all out?"

"Please, no."

Itachi waved his hands frantically. His dealings with Shisui were known to no one, not even Sandaime. The mere mention of 'Kotoamatsukami' was enough to prove Naruto's claims.

"No wonder you always seem so confident and all-knowing. Turns out it's not just your acting… it's your Sharingan seeing everything in advance." Itachi sighed, shaking his head.

At the same time, he felt a sense of relief at becoming Naruto's servant.

Naruto, who possesses the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, had no limitations like blindness and could use his Sharingan's abilities indefinitely. If nothing unexpected happens, in Itachi's opinion, it is only a matter of time before Naruto becomes the absolute ruler of the Shinobi World.

Seeing Itachi tacitly accept the truth, Naruto couldn't help but chuckle in his heart, 'Another one was fooled...'
