Chapter 234 - Chapter 233: Ways To Improve Strength!

The insights of the true gods of the abyss were highly valuable, providing Novak with much to consider and solidifying several new ideas and plans. After a full day of discussion, the three true gods departed, expressing hope for Novak's vision of change.

After they left, Novak couldn't resist visiting the 437th floor to engage in an intimate encounter with Meikanxie. Within her palace, the Succubus Queen showed no sign of fatigue, her energy relentless as if galloping on an endless ride. She kept her blood-red armor on—a request from Novak.

As dawn approached and their "battle" finally subsided, Novak broke the silence, asking, "What's your view on the transformation of the abyss?"

Meikanxie, her heart-shaped tail flicking and tongue still tasting the air, had absorbed much from Novak during the night. He had taught her new techniques and strategies to deepen her control over her powers, techniques she grasped with impressive talent and ease, proving herself exceptionally gifted.

She responded enthusiastically, "Master's plans for reform are undoubtedly wise. However, your strength must increase swiftly, or these changes will be as fleeting as blossoms in the abyss—power is essential."

Novak nodded in agreement. Strength was indeed his greatest need. To conquer more layers of the abyss and implement his planned changes, he needed to go beyond the current nine layers on the surface. The more his foundation solidified, the more potent his advancements in power would be.

This line of thought reminded him of something he had nearly forgotten: the 'Gluttonous Face' and the power it held. During the abyss trial, he had hunted countless demons on the first level, refining their blood and feeding it to that entity. Now, he wondered what level that condensed demon blood had reached.

Looking into his storage, he felt Meikanxie's faint, corrosive power lingering there. The 'Gluttonous Face' seemed to glance back at him with a hint of resentment, but what Novak saw next made his pupils brighten. Two hearts pulsed before him, each glowing with a black-red aura that hinted at immense, untapped power.

[Pure-Blood Demon Lord Bloodline (SS)]

🔹The blood of demons is a unique power bestowed by the abyss. Any species transformed by the abyss contains the demon's blood, but only true pure-blood demons possess the true power of the abyss demon.

Novak's gaze shifted to the second heart:

[Hell Devil Sovereign Blood Essence (SS)]

🔹The devils, originally from the abyss, are considered part of the demon family. However, the ancient Hell King, Satan, separated hell from the abyss through sheer force of will, freeing it from Abyss constraints. In doing so, he purged Abyss demon power from the devils and fallen angels, transforming them into a distinct and formidable race acknowledged across the universe.

The connection was clear: the separation of the devils as a unique race was indeed inseparable from Satan's monumental actions.

Yet, these matters were not Novak's immediate focus. Could it be that after reaching SS rank, these bloodlines could no longer advance?

Novak gazed at the Gluttonous Face with suspicion. SS rank was high, but not quite the pinnacle of perfection—SSS. He wasn't willing to settle. Although bloodlines could sometimes advance through selective methods, finding such an easy path to upgrade was exceptionally rare.

Determined, he handed the two SS-ranked demon bloodlines back to the Gluttonous Face, but it merely clamped shut, offering no response. Was it that the quantity wasn't enough? Or was advancement simply impossible?

Resolving to test it, Novak patted Meikanxie on the head, saying, "Alright, I'm heading out. Next time, I'll bring you some gifts—I'm sure you'll love them~" Without waiting for her dissatisfied gaze, Novak enveloped himself in Abyss power and vanished.

Instead of leaving the abyss, he reappeared on its tenth layer. In this realm, demons were countless, and demonic bloodlines flowed freely. For Novak to increase his strength, he needed to refine his talent and push his Blacklight Virus to its current peak. More importantly, he needed to acquire and fuse bloodlines. Once he achieved an SSS-ranked demon bloodline, his power would rise exponentially, potentially allowing him to conquer the tenth level or even more.

Everything depended on one thing—extermination. To kill these demons and utilize the Blacklight Virus for optimal absorption and growth.

Though these demons could eventually serve as his subjects, those not yet under his rule were no more than fuel for his rise. Besides, reducing the power of the tenth layer would make his upcoming clash with the demon warrior Odu that much easier.

And so, he began his slaughter.

Once Novak engaged in killing, the power of the abyss could no longer protect him from other demonic beings, a factor that would only take effect once he departed the abyss. The tenth layer of the abyss was unique among the first ten levels, housing demon lords and an astonishing number of demons, most around level 20 or higher.

Through relentless killing and devouring, the essence of demon bloodlines and exclusive Blacklight Virus evolution points surged into his system, fueling rapid advancements.

Three days later, however, a ripple from the Hell King's Ring interrupted his spree. Yuzuru and Kaguya had finally completed their training under Satan, readying the soulless sisters for release from the Ring.

It just so happens that he has been on a killing spree in this abyss for so long, so it's time to relax!
