(Chris's PoV)
Well, now that the food was done, I need to rest but before that, there is something I like to get and that is the beast eggs that I got from the Evergreen Serpent.
I didn't check them properly before when I acquired them back then. The fight with the serpent was just over and I have no idea what was around. Also, I needed to hunt as many beasts as I could to earn points. After all, they were the main priority for the seven days that I would stay in the secret realm, well now that is six days.
Whatever spoils that I gain are secondary. As long as I can get into a good academy, those resources that I am scrambling for will be hand-delivered to me there. For that to happen points were important and the reason why I didn't want to waste much time.
Now it's time to rest, I can check what the spoils are and the first on the list was the eggs that I got from the serpent, part of my first spoils of battle.
