(Chris's PoV)
Ah, I needed that.
Though my brain was telling me to go to bed, I took a bath first, and that was for the best. Taking a hot bath felt so good. Also, I didn't anger my mother in the process. It's a win-win for me.
I bathed Snow, too, alongside me. She too was in the same situation as me. We were not able to take a bath as there were no major water sources nearby. There was a small pond, but I didn't like to take my bath there.
The water was so clear and all the animals and beasts came there to drink water. I didn't want to dirty the only available water source with the filth.
Of course, that doesn't mean we didn't clean up.
I secured some water in the containers that I took with me. Using that water and a towel, I cleaned up occassionaly and also cleaned her, but cleaning and taking a bath are two different things.
After the bath, Mom called me for dinner.
