Hikari and Ayase sat across from each other at a white table. They'd each gotten their own separate deserts, and the elf chose something that was more familiar to her. It was a kind of pudding native to this world. One of the ingredients was a fruit from a magical tree.
The elf grabbed a spoonful of the white pudding and took a bite. Her eyes lit up as the sweetness swept through her mouth.
Ayase watched the elf with a smile on her face. "You look so cute when you get to enjoy food. I could watch this scene all day."
The elf felt her face heating up and gestured to Ayase's own dessert. It was an unfamiliar sponge cake. Even the base was made from different ingredients than what Hikari remembered about Earth cakes. It didn't really surprise her that Ayase would choose something mysterious and different.
