After school, Qingran left with Xie Ying'an and Li Qingmo, with Teacher Sun also walking with them.
Li Qingmo had an unhappy expression, walking at the very front.
Teacher Sun, on the other hand, seemed quite pleased, leisurely strolling at the back.
The moods of the two formed a stark contrast.
Qingran quietly nudged Xie Ying'an walking beside her, and when Xie Ying'an looked over with a questioning glance, she whispered.
"My brother he..." Qingran spoke softly, waiting until Teacher Sun shot them a strange glance and moved ahead before she motioned for Xie Ying'an to lean in.
Xie Ying'an's eyes lit up, he bent down closer to Qingran, the scent of fresh grass wafting into his nostrils, his youthful gaze seemingly dewy: "What's wrong with your brother?"
Qingran didn't notice Xie Ying'an's expression, still gleefully snickering: "My brother got caught playing games by his homeroom teacher."
"Oh," replied Xie Ying'an, not particularly surprised, as if he had anticipated this.
