Wu Tong returned to the hospital in the afternoon, and to her surprise, Jiang Yun was actually standing up and walking around the ward.
She hurriedly entered, and like before, when she had accompanied him in his rehabilitation, she supported his arm, reproaching in her tone, "The doctor said your wound hasn't healed yet. You shouldn't be out of bed walking around."
Jiang Yun smiled lazily, stopped walking, and turned his head to look at the woman who was clearly concerned about him.
"He's left?"
Wu Tong paused for a moment and then nodded, "After dinner, he went straight to the airport."
"What did he say to you?" Jiang Yun pressed, a sense of foreboding in his heart.
At that question, Wu Tong let go of his arm, slightly turned her body away, and her tone became somewhat evasive, "Nothing much, just small talk."
Jiang Yun didn't believe that Jiang Li's nature, or Wu Tong's current demeanor, would mean they had nothing to say when they were together.
