Two weeks had passed since Eduardo ended up in the hospital. He finally returned home after spending a long time in the hospital.
The guards were surprised to see him back in the manor. They had assumed he wouldn't return since Marcello's father warned him to stay away from Marcello.
That morning, Eduardo walked out of his room making his way to Marcello's office. He bumped into Mario, who was standing by his door.
"Eddy!" He yelled in excitement. He struggled to hold himself back from jumping on him and hugging him. He wasn't allowed to visit him at the hospital.
No one was allowed to.
Marcello had purposely let Eduardo remain in the hospital while he dealt with a few things so as not to put Eduardo in harm's way.
"Hey, Mario. Why are you standing here?" He asked.
"He refused to open the door"
"Why?" Eduardo asked.
"He... He has another fiancee" Mario replied. Eduardo folded his hand and nodded his head.
