"Tch, if I wasn't bonded to these chains, I would have ripped you apart faster than you could even blink," she said through clenched teeth as Ryuk stared into her dark eye before he shrugged.
"I guess that's a factor I should consider. Freeing you could lead to me getting ripped apart. I don't think that helps your case, though."
"Huh?"
"For a person over 200 years old, you seem a bit slow up there. I wouldn't have said that if I were you..." Ryuk said, chuckling mockingly to himself as she bit her lip when she realized.
She let her anger get the better of her.
"So, like I asked, what's your name, and give me a reason to free you if I could," he asked once more, eyes narrowing as her dark eye glimmered with suspicion.
"Why? Why do you even care?"
"You could have punched my face in like you said and grabbed the card. Why bother with the questions?"
"Hey, you want to get out of here or not?" Ryuk asked, irritated by her constant dodging, as her dark eye gleamed in disbelief.
