Chin-hwa and Kang-woo grew up together; they had never been separated before, and without knowing, both started growing feelings for each other.

"Did you have to interrupt at this point?" He asked, resting on the railing and shoving his fingers through his hair. "He was about to agree to let me take him home."


"Well, bummer. You'll have better luck next time." Deok-ryu said, patting his back. He showed no remorse for ruining his friend's chances, but rather, he was curious. "So, is he really the one?" He asked, his expression turning serious.


"Yes, he is." Deok-ryu answered. "Yun-tae is definitely my fated partner."


Between Alphas and Omegas, the term 'fated partner' was believed to be that every Alpha had a destined Omega, a soulmate meant to be their lifelong companion. The one they would mark, bond with, and cherish forever.
