After a two-day break, everyone gathers once more at Arthur and Morgan's lab. From the outside, it resembles a rustic hunting cabin—a small wooden house with a pitched roof, a single door, and multiple windows lining each side.
As they step inside, a warm, inviting atmosphere greets them. Wooden beams stretch across the ceiling, and a stone fireplace crackles softly in the corner, filling the room with the scent of burning pine and herbs. The cozy interior offers a stark yet welcome contrast to the chilly wilderness beyond.
Valeron glances around before asking, "Who did you get inspiration from?"
Morgan answers, "The Red Mother—better known as Baba Yaga, the creator of all Undead."
Arthur nods in acknowledgment before turning to address two figures. "Thank you for joining us, Grandmother (Tyris) and Grandfather (Leegaa)."
Leegaa frowns slightly. "Why do you invite us if you're—"
"I told you," Arthur interrupts, exchanging a look with Morgan.
Morgan follows up, "Because we need your Primordial Flames and Life Maelstrom."
With that, they move into the forge master's lab. Inside, eight gold-veined marble bricks, each precisely cut to 2x4 dimensions, sit neatly against the back wall, next to a collection of red-to-white mana crystals. At the center of the room stand two imposing Davross anvils, facing each other. Between them rests a Davross hammer, its handle crafted from the legendary Yggdrasil itself.
Leegaa folded his arms and asked, "What do you need me to purify?"
Tyris glanced at Arthur. "And what do you need my Life Maelstrom for?"
Morgan gestured for Leegaa to follow. "Come with me." She led him into another room filled with magical metals, but only after he purified their anvils and hammers.
Meanwhile, Arthur and Tyris remained behind, discussing their next steps.
"I need a single bolt of Life Maelstrom to enchant our hammers and anvils," Arthur explained.
Tyris tilted her head. "And?"
Arthur nodded. "And a single breath of Primordial Flames and Immortal Flames."
When Leegaa returned, he crossed his arms. "Why do you need my flames?"
Arthur met his gaze. "If you want to know, why don't you give them to me and find out?"
Leegaa narrowed his eyes but relented. "Fine. But I will oversee the entire process."
Tyris gave a firm nod. After Arthur and Morgan agreed, they instructed everyone to stand against the walls, preparing for the next step in their enchantment.
Arthur and Morgan stepped up to their anvils as a powerful energy filled the room. The hammers floated into the air, their heads separating from their handles. Suddenly, millions of runes ignited, glowing with ancient power, while six white mana crystals sat atop each anvil.
As the ritual progressed, the white crystals shifted, each taking on a different hue. A red fire mana crystal sat across from a blue water mana crystal. A yellow air mana crystal aligned opposite an orange earth mana crystal. A silver light mana crystal faced a black darkness mana crystal.
Atop the hammer head, a green spirit mana crystal pulsed with energy. On the left side, a purple dimensional mana crystal shimmered, while on the right, a gray gravity mana crystal radiated its power.
Thousands of glowing orbs emerged, each carrying a rune, illuminating the entire space with a mystical glow.
Arthur then summoned the bolt of Life Maelstrom before him, splitting it into five. He set one aside while enlarging the remaining four to ten times their original size. Each of these enhanced bolts surged toward a hammer and anvil, merging with them.
The runes and orbs followed, flowing into the tools in a brilliant cascade of light. As the final sigil settled, the forging process was complete--the work of the Forge Masters had reached its culmination.
Tista, Friya, Phloria, Quilla, Yurial, Apollo, Elina, Rena, Brago, Jirni, Sylpha, Meron, Valeron, Tyris, Leegaa, and Salaark say "WHAT THE HELL AS THAT?"
They all moved to the living room.
Valeron turned to Salaark and asked, "Do you know what they did?"
Salaark shook her head. "No. Leegaa?"
Leegaa frowned. "No, but you and I saw the rune they conjured."
Salaark looked at Arthur, then conjured three glowing runes in the air: one shaped like an infinity
symbol, another resembling a red cross, and the last resembling a blood drop. "What are these runes?" he asked.
Arthur reached out and conjured the infinity symbol. "This is the Rune of Mana," he explained.
Valeron crossed his arms. "What does it do?"
Arthur gestured to the rune. "With six elemental mana crystals placed on the Anvil to conjure their respective elements, and a spirit crystal on the hammer to invoke the seventh, I can imprint my energy signature onto them. When combined with gravity and dimensional crystals, these six elements merge, allowing me to craft powerful dimensional and gravity enchantments."
Morgan stepped forward, conjuring the red cross rune. "This is the Rune of Life Force," he said.
Leegaa narrowed his eyes. "What does it do?"
Morgan nodded toward the third rune. "It allows life force to be stored and used later. It works in tandem with the Blood Rune—the last one—because blood magic relies on both."
Valeron glanced at Arthur. "What exactly is blood magic?"
Arthur clasped his hands behind his back. "It's a high branch of both Necromancer and Healer magic. The undead blood core is the foundation of blood magic. When properly formed, it holds the caster's life force and the power of all seven elements."
Tyris raised an eyebrow. "How can someone have two cores?"
Morgan answered, "One is pure energy, and the other is pure physical matter. The flaw of an undead blood core is that it contains both energy and matter at once. A pure blood core, on the other hand, consists of physical matter, life force, and the seven elements in harmony."
