The parent-teacher meeting was scheduled for the afternoon. Ning Hui stood at the classroom door, looking eagerly through it, and finally saw Xiao Yiting arrive. Daddy Xiao was all dressed up, looking incredibly dashing—it truly gave her face!
"Daddy!" she said joyfully, linking her arm through Xiao Yiting's as they entered the classroom.
"Ning Hui, this is your..." The homeroom teacher sized up Xiao Yiting.
"This is my dad! And Ning Yu's dad too!" Ning Hui introduced proudly.
"Mr. Ning?" The teacher's expression turned a bit strange.
"Yes, that's me," Xiao Yiting said, reaching out his hand.
The teacher smiled and shook it, "Welcome. Please take a seat at Ning Hui's desk."
Ning Hui led Xiao Yiting to her seat, passing by Ning Yu, making a silly face at him and throwing him a threatening look. If he dared to spill the beans about today, he was dead meat!
