Afterward, Xiao Yi and Gladys ate together on a nearby bench.
"This is... oh!" Gladys exclaimed, "Such magical food, so delicious!"
"It's not that tasty," Xiao Yi said. "Isn't it just because we're hungry that it seems so good?"
"No," Gladys shook her head. "There's more to it than that."
"Hmm?" Xiao Yi was puzzled. "What else is there?"
But Gladys did not answer; she just smiled at Xiao Yi and then... gently shifted her bottom, moving a little closer to him.
Then, Xiao Yi took Gladys out for a proper meal before returning home again.
"Your dad hasn't come back yet, oh well."
Xiao Yi said as he used his key to open the door.
