Ronald had always been a pragmatist.
If he remembered correctly, the Minotaur was the result of the King of Crete making a sacrifice to Poseidon to prove the legitimacy of his usurped throne, which then angered the Greek deity, and so Poseidon sent the bull to seduce the queen, leading to the birth of the monstrous Minotaur.
With this reference in mind,
Ronald felt that praying to Poseidon should be the most effective course of action at the moment.

The roar was filled with the fury of the half-man, half-bull monster.
