Zhou Wang and Jiang Mo walked out of the library side by side. He took out his phone and saw a message from an unfamiliar gray and white icon.
Zhou Wang took a moment to react before remembering who it was.
He opened WeChat and, sure enough, saw "Kill the Robin" had accepted his friend request and sent a message:
"You're Zhou Dajun's son, right?"
"It's me, Sister Qingkui, hi."
Zhou Wang replied, not having the chance to say anything else before receiving a quick response.
"Sorry, I might not remember you much, but Auntie already told me about it. I kind of understand her intentions, but I've been quite busy lately, so let's talk later, okay?"
Zhou Wang was surprised, then smiled and replied, "Okay."
Jiang Qingkui's reaction was what he had expected; it was normal.
You could only say that parents' views on some things were a bit too wishful. After all, times had changed; feelings born out of neighborhood ties might ultimately belong only to that era...
