Shen Mochen silently withdrew his gaze.
"Pfft, jerk!" Xia Qingrou huffed and pushed Han Muxue's wheelchair out of the living room.
"I'll be off then," Liu Chaoyan said with a slight smile, walking quickly outside and taking off into the air.
Han Muxue silently watched Liu Chaoyan's figure disappearing into the sky, her expression blank, like a bird trapped in a cage.
"Let's go too," Xia Qingrou said, leaning down to Han Muxue.
She was as gentle with Han Muxue as she always was. Han Muxue softly hummed in acknowledgment.
Xiao Xingshuang rode out to the destruction site alone on her motorcycle while Shen Mochen and the others took a pickup truck.
"Ew, why is the passenger seat so dirty? Did someone spill their drink here?" Xia Qingrou opened the door of the pickup and looked inside, wondering aloud, "Never mind, no time to clean it now, we'll do it when we get back. Xuexue, you and the jerk can sit in the back!"
