"Long time no see, Miss Shizuru," he whispered in greeting.
Miss Shizuru didn't move, as if she hadn't heard.
So Dubian Che had no choice but to focus his gaze outside the window, idly admiring the street scenes along the way.
Halfway through, he saw people racing go-karts on the street, adorned with balloons, and Dubian Che instinctively leaned closer to the window to look out.
"What are you looking at?" Jiutiao Meijie squinted slightly.
"Go-karts." Only when the go-kart convoy had gradually disappeared did Dubian Che sit back upright.
By then, Jiutiao Meijie's expression across from him had turned terrifying, virtually carnivorous.
"You, what's wrong?" Dubian Che got startled, instinctively thinking her next sentence might again be to have Shizuru throw him out of the car.
"How dare you! I'm right in front of you, and you still dare to look at other things."
"It's go-karts! The drivers are all men in their thirties, is that not allowed?"
