Jiang Ning watched as Geng Lu walked away; he now planned to buy Xue Yuantong some food.
The reason he didn't pack food to go from the noodle shop was that Geng Lu had treated him to the meal, and he feared she might end up paying for Xue Yuantong's portion as well.
