The enormous centipede, hundred zhangs in body length, rattled its sharp, fang-like mouthparts producing bursts of sharp, frenzied laughter.
Its body, composed of segment after segment, coiled around a small cone-shaped mountain, its numerous legs deeply embedded in the rocks.
Around were similar cone-shaped mountains, each one like sharp spikes pointing towards the sky.
Not far beside it stood over a dozen Great Demons, including a gigantic moth flapping its wings, a fierce tiger with the character for 'king' on its brow, and a mountain-high Tree Demon with entangling roots.
These demons all seemed to be stirred up, their demon bodies trembling, causing the stone forest to resonate with the rumblings of rolling rocks.
"We can finally leave this place!"
