Chapter 101 - Chapter 84 : Minato and Books!!

Uchiha Kai smiled and said, "Actually, it's fine to tell Kushina, but while I've prepared a spot for her, you know her situation. Without certainty, I can't let her enter."

Minato's expression darkened slightly. "Yeah, the Nine-Tails Fox is a big problem. Kushina can't even play Genjutsu games..."

He sighed as he said this.

As the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails, Kushina had to be careful of the beast sealed inside her, constantly monitoring for any signs of the Nine-Tails rampaging.

This meant she couldn't play Genjutsu games, which required her mind to enter the Genjutsu world.

After all, no one could be sure if the Nine-Tails would go berserk when Kushina's consciousness entered the Genjutsu game.

It's important to know that although Uzumaki Kushina is a direct descendant of the Uzumaki clan, mastering the various sealing techniques of the clan, and inheriting the legacy of the previous Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, Uzumaki Mito, her own seal inside her body is not as strong as that of her future son, Uzumaki Naruto.

This led to the Nine-Tails, the strongest tailed beast, potentially losing control at any time.

Because of this, whenever Minato wasn't around, Konoha would send elite Anbu ninjas to protect and monitor Kushina, even placing her under a semi-house arrest with limited freedom.

Though it may seem inhumane, it was necessary. In the story "Minato's Legacy," Kushina took advantage of the Anbu ninjas' lack of attention and snuck out of Konoha.

The Nine-Tails went on a rampage, almost causing an uncontrollable situation, nearly taking Minato's life.

If it weren't for Minato, who, despite being seriously injured, used his weakened body to enter Kushina's mind and help her suppress the Nine-Tails, Konoha would have lost the Fourth Hokage and the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki that day.

This story shows just how incredible it is that Naruto was able to live freely in Konoha. Given the danger the Nine-Tails posed, it would have been best to keep Naruto under constant surveillance.

Sarutobi Hiruzen allowed this dangerous "nuclear weapon" to run free in the village and forced the villagers not to target Naruto. It's classic old age and foolishness.

Anyone who knew the real situation would think Hiruzen had gone crazy.

Here, it must be mentioned that the Naruto from the manga and the Naruto from the anime had completely different childhoods.

In the manga, Naruto was an unruly, spoiled child in Konoha. His house wasn't perfect, but it was well-equipped, and it was the same place his parents had lived before.

This means the conspiracy theory that the Third Hokage stole Naruto's parents' house is nothing but a rumor.

Naruto was both feared and hated by the villagers. Most villagers were too afraid to speak openly about him.

Even if they insulted him, it was always behind his back, out of fear of his revenge. Naruto didn't struggle to buy food or face issues with expired items; he purposely let the milk expire himself.

The villagers' hatred for him was mostly about the "guess who wasn't invited" kind of distance. Anyone who dared to insult or harm him would probably be taken by the Anbu for "tea."

Also, in the manga, the fact that Naruto was the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki was kept secret by the Third Hokage.

Even Orochimaru didn't know until the Chunin Exams when he saw Naruto release the Nine-Tails chakra.

It can be said that the Third Hokage did everything possible to give Naruto the best treatment as a Jinchuriki.

Both being sons of Hokage and brothers, the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki, Killer Bee, had a much stronger and more powerful background than Naruto.

His childhood can be considered the opposite of Naruto's in the manga. It was tragic, to say the least.

As for the anime...

Let's just say the anime creators overdid it with the original plot. To make Naruto seem more pitiful, they made him suffer from bullying, being hated by villagers, and even insulted to his face. He was treated like a punching bag, unlike the "leaf village's spoiled rich kid" in the manga who had a very different life experience.

If the two Narutos ever met, they'd probably just complain to each other.

"Why was your childhood so good?"

"Why was your childhood so miserable?"

Of course, after all the complaints, the main point still lies with Minato, Naruto's father. He was amazing. He combined two Four Symbols Seals together to create a never-before-seen Eight Trigrams Seal.

Thanks to this Eight Trigrams Seal, even though Naruto never awakened the secret techniques of the Uzumaki Clan's bloodline, the Nine-Tails was always tightly suppressed.

There was never a situation where the Nine-Tails would suddenly go berserk like it did with his mother.

Any time the Nine-Tails lost control, it was because Naruto himself lost control of his emotions.

Otherwise, even if Naruto were dying, the Nine-Tails would be powerless—just like when Naruto went to Tsunade and was fatally wounded. The Nine-Tails could only complain and couldn't do anything.

If it were Kushina, the Nine-Tails would have been like: "What the hell is this? Get out of my way, watch me do this!"

So...

"Minato, you have the highest talent and mastery of sealing techniques in Konoha, even surpassing both Kushina and Kikyō."

"So, have you considered strengthening Kushina's seal? Like, combining the two Four Symbols Seals to create a stronger one?"

Uchiha Kai suggested in a guiding tone.

Minato was momentarily stunned, then fell into deep thought. This was the same tone Kai used when guiding him to develop new ninjutsu.

Whenever Kai spoke like this, it meant the idea was highly feasible. Minato just needed to turn the theory into reality.

Then, Uchiha Kai raised his hand and tapped a few times on a system panel only he could see.

Suddenly, a bunch of identical NPCs appeared beside them, causing Minato and Kikyo to jump in surprise.

Minato: "Kai, what's going on?"

Uchiha Kai: "These are all simulated mannequins, but they are just like real humans. Whether it's their internal structure or life condition, they are fully simulated to reflect the real world."

"So, you can experiment with sealing techniques on these mannequins without worrying about harming or killing real people."

Upon hearing this, Minato Namikaze understood and smiled: "Thanks, Kai."

Uchiha Kai waved his hand: "No need to say that between us brothers. Alright, I've left everything here for you. I've also marked an area and given you a mental seed. You can enter this mental space using the seed whenever you want, no need to come find me."

"Now, let's head to the library! I'll find the books that will be useful to you. You can just grab them directly whenever you want to study."

Minato nodded immediately, then the two of them headed toward the library.

As for Kikyō Uzumaki, after curiously inspecting the mannequins that had been created, she waved at Uchiha Kai and Minato and ran off to continue building her house.

It was clear that the girl was now truly obsessed with 'building blocks.' The attraction was even stronger than the Genjutsu games that had already been produced.

After all, the girl wanted to build a home for herself and Uchiha Kai, so she had to carefully research how to construct a good house.

On the other side, Uchiha Kai and Minato entered the library.

Soon, Minato saw Orochimaru sitting at a desk, deeply focused on reading. His speed of flipping through books was inconsistent, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, and he would occasionally nod, as if suddenly understanding some profound concept.

Around this Konoha Sannin were piles of books that he had gathered to read.

Seeing how serious Orochimaru was, Uchiha Kai whispered to Minato: "Let's not disturb Orochimaru-san. He gets really upset if he's interrupted when he's focused on his reading."

Minato nodded, agreeing, and the two of them walked to another section of the library related to humanities, politics, and war.

Uchiha Kai then immediately found a bunch of representative books for Minato, including some related to history.

With Minato, there was no need to filter out some things. There were topics that didn't need explanations because Minato, as a good friend, would naturally understand and fill in the gaps.

Konoha's bonds—so mysterious, right?
