Chapter 106 - Chapter 87.2 : Any resemblance to real events is purely coincidental!!

Then, Obito realized that his body was no longer under his control. He started moving on its own, walking up the mountain path while pulling out a letter.

The text on the letter was something the character Obito was playing had written, and it was actually a will.

The letter described how Obito's character, originally from the Indra clan, a bloodline clan with powerful eyes capable of seeing through many things, was being hunted by a secret, evil organization called "Gen."

The organization feared and coveted the power of the Indra clan, secretly abducting many members for inhumane experiments.

Obito's character's parents were taken by the Gen organization, and he had been searching for them ever since.

He eventually discovered one of Gen's hidden bases, a sinister place disguised as a special hospital on a mountain.

No one knew exactly what terrible things the Gen Organization was hiding in this hospital, nor what they had been doing there.

A few days ago, a horrifying incident occurred at the hospital. It seemed to have been attacked and then lost all contact with the outside world.

The character played by Obito saw this as a good opportunity and made a plan with his friend to break into the hospital for an investigation.

If they could find any evidence of the Gen Organization's evil deeds, they could report it to the authorities and have the organization crushed.

In order to find clues about his parents and to destroy the evil Gen Organization, the character played by Obito bravely went ahead.

However, knowing the dangers of this mission, this person left behind a letter just in case.

If he were to meet an unfortunate end, he hoped someone would find the letter and continue his mission to expose the Gen Organization's true, evil nature.

From the letter and the self-narration of the character played by Obito, the background and main storyline of the game were explained.

After seeing this, the people in the real world understood it, but they still felt something was off.

Kakashi, in particular, commented flatly, "This is too reckless. They just barge into the enemy's secret base like this, and the letter is with them—aren't they worried about losing it or damaging it?"

Hearing this, Rin tugged at Kakashi to signal him to stop talking.

As for Minato, who was already familiar with games, he just smiled and said, "Well, it's a game. It doesn't need to be as rigorous as the real world. As long as there's a reasonable excuse for the character's actions, it works."

Uchiha Kai smiled and nodded, agreeing with Minato.

In games, many things that might seem abstract in the real world are actually the most fitting for the gameplay.

Also, Kakashi's complaint about the letter was addressed in the game, and the answer came immediately.

At that moment, the character played by Obito pulled out a pen and moved to the bottom right corner of the letter, where the author's name should have been. It was then that Obito and the others noticed there was no name written there.

In this game, players can name their characters however they like, which adds to the immersion. After all, you can even use your real name if you want.

So, after realizing what this meant, Obito immediately put his real name, Uchiha Obito, as his character name.

Next, the character Obito was playing in the game put away a letter and used a Reverse Summoning Jutsu to send the letter away.

This made Kakashi, who had just mocked the letter, feel extremely awkward. He cleared his throat and, under the subtle gazes of the others, decided to stay quiet from then on, acting like a minor character.

In the game, after Obito's character completed the Reverse Summoning, he found himself on a mountain, in front of a massive hospital building. The hospital was made up of several large structures.

However, the hospital's outer gate was dilapidated, as if it had been hit by some explosion. The surrounding wall was also damaged.

Inside the wall, black stains were scattered everywhere, covering the ground and walls, looking like dried blood.

At the same time, the sky grew darker, and the entire hospital fell into darkness, giving off a creepy vibe.

The main issue was how eerily quiet it was. A hospital should be full of sounds, but now it was terrifyingly silent, as if nothing was there.

With the sky darkening, the area around it became pitch black, and nothing could be seen. There were no lights to help either.

Obito noticed all of this and swallowed nervously. But then, he saw that his game character moved on its own.

After the sky darkened, it activated a special technique called 'Blood Eye.' His vision then became clear, like using night vision goggles, allowing him to see his surroundings.

However, the Blood Eye couldn't stay on permanently. There was a chakra bar that constantly drained while it was active.

Once the Blood Eye was deactivated, the bar would stop draining, but it wouldn't recover by itself. He would need special eye drops to restore chakra.

These eye drops were a special item in the game and could be found in various places.

After entering the hospital, players would face many areas of complete darkness, where they would have to use the Blood Eye to see.

So, they had to manage their chakra and eye drops wisely to ensure they could activate the Blood Eye when needed, without getting caught in total darkness and being helpless against enemies.

Additionally, players couldn't fight enemies inside the hospital because it had a powerful barrier that sealed all chakra.

The only thing that could be used was the Blood Eye, a unique bloodline technique.

This turned players, who were once capable of fighting, into weaklings. If they encountered enemies, they could only run away, and if caught, they could only struggle. They couldn't do anything else.

This is the meaning behind the game Escape.

Hmm, this is another background setting localized by Uchiha Kai for the ninja world.

To the people in the real world, the risk of this game character's actions was maximized, and even Minato Namikaze couldn't help but show a subtle expression as he reflected on it.

After all, it didn't seem like much at first, but after seeing the so-called "Blood Eye," Minato Namikaze could only think: Isn't this just the Sharingan without the tomoe?

As for the so-called "Gen" organization, they didn't even try to hide it. Wasn't it just a reference to the Root organization?

Wow, this game is directly taking aim at the Root organization, mocking how Konoha's Root has always been persecuting the Uchiha clan!

Minato Namikaze glanced at Uchiha Kai with a subtle expression. He wanted to ask if Uchiha Kai was okay with this, but ultimately, he didn't speak up.

After all, Minato, who was considered half of Konoha's upper management, knew well the feud between Root and the Uchiha clan. He also understood that the leader of the Root organization, Danzo Shimura, was a staunch enemy of the Uchiha.

He had heard that recently there were rumors about the Uchiha clan, followed by rumors of Danzo selling information, suggesting a battle of wits between the Uchiha and Danzo.

Now, Uchiha Kai was directly presenting this battle of wits through a game, and it seemed quite reasonable. Even if Danzo tried to cause a stir over it, it wouldn't make much difference.

After all, while everyone could clearly see who the game was referencing, it never directly named anyone. The Uchiha clan could easily say, "Any resemblance to real events is purely coincidental."

In the end, Minato Namikaze accepted these subtly uncomfortable settings.
