The already bewildered alchemists were left even more dumbfounded when Tan Wei casually took a large bamboo spoon from his space ring. Without ceremony, he dipped it into the bubbling cauldron and began to stir. The herbs inside slowly broke down, blending into a uniform mixture as the spoon moved. It looked less like a formal alchemy process and more like someone cooking.
Some of the alchemists watched with growing interest. As strange as Tan Wei's methods appeared, they couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to it. But the more impatient ones began to sneer and curse Tan Wei.
"This pretentious brat… wasting our time like this," one of them muttered. "He's obviously a charlatan. Have you ever seen anyone do alchemy like that?"
Murmurs spread throughout the tent. Long Liu frowned. Even though she found Tan Wei's approach unconventional, she didn't stop him. They were already here, and waiting a few more minutes wouldn't hurt.
