The moment the nurse announced that visitors were now allowed in, I didn't waste a second and rushed in.
My heart pounded heavily against my chest as I stepped into the cold, sterile hospital room where Ayra lay.
The soft beeping of the monitors echoed through the stillness, each sound a cruel reminder of the condition she was in.
The sight of her lying there, motionless, pale, and fragile, sent a sharp pain through my chest.
I swallowed hard, forcing back the lump forming in my throat.
This wasn't how she was supposed to be.
Ayra was vibrant, full of life. She was the kind of woman who could light up an entire room with just her presence.
Seeing her like this was unbearable. Slowly, I approached the bed, my hands trembling as I reached out and gently took her hand in mine.
