Yami carried Natsu and ran through the hall. A while passed before Natsu and Yami reached a point where they saw mages which made Natsu to come down and get ready for a fight.
The mages saw Natsu and Yami covered in blood which made them became scared as they got ready for an attack.
As they saw Natsu and Yami holding blades in their hands with their eyes ready to kill, one of them immediately shouted, "Send words to the boss about the intruders!"
The man then looked at the both of them and asked, "What are you doing here, I'd advise you to turn back and leave if you know what's good for you"
"No, we should capture them, how did they get in here, I'm sure the boss would love to know that" one of them said as the mages began talking to themselves.
While they were making all those comments, Natsu and Yami began whispering to themselves as Yami said, "Hey, I don't think we should harm them"
"Why?"
"From their expression, they don't look like something that was conjured. They're acting like actual humans beings so I don't think we should kill them"
"Well I'm not good with dealing with this kinda things so I'll leave it up to you"
"Okay but I'll need backup. We should avoid using weapons as much as necessary so just put the knifes away"
"Okay" Natsu replied as he took the knife Yami was holding and covered it as he placed it at his back.
"Hey what are they talking about over there" one of them shouted as another said, "Let's deal with them quickly before..."
As the man was speaking Yami moved towards one of them really fast and gave a heavy punch which made him to fly as he coughed out blood.
The man became shocked by this and was unable to finish his statement as his mouth opened in shock which made everyone to be afraid of Yami as he stood straight and looked at them.
"Who's next?" Natsu said as everyone turned towards Natsu while Yami replied, "I don't know but it looks like I should hold back my punches if not they would die pretty fast"
Everyone looked back at Yami with the same expression as they all thought, "Were doomed"
"Don't be afraid, we just have to hold them up until boss gets here" one of them said as the rest became excited and ready to fight as they began attacking the both of them.
"Fire ball. Lightening shot. Ice snow. They all screamed as they began summoning different elements towards Natsu and Yami as the both began dodged while trying to fight them.
Of course some of them were using weapons like swords, spares, bow and arrows and so on, while some used there first to fight.
Yami was good in hand to hand combat so he was able to hold his own against them, but Natsu on the other hand avoided hand to hand combat and used his rope to move around as he began binding some with it.
"I see, one of them specializes in hand to hand combat so he's beating our men while the other one is a complete mad man who isn't affected by any of our attacks" the man who made them excited to fight thought as he saw Natsu laughing.
"Don't tell me this is all you've got" Natsu said as he was on fire.
One of them sent a bolt of lightning towards him but he continued laughing as his rope binded them, which made the mages to loose faith in winning the battle.
Natsu used his rope to move around as he knocked the archers who were targeting Yami as he began using there equipment to fight them.
Yami continued to have a clean fight as he threw some kicks and punch while dodging their weapons.
One of them used telepathy to immediately reach there boss as a very thin man with a long blade and black hair was sitting down on a pillar been bored replied, "What's it?"
"Sir we have intruders and there really dangerous, we need back up, we.. ahhh...!!!" The man heard as he said, "Hey what's going on there, say something, hello, shit, it looks like the contestants are lucky, I'll have to abandon the exam and go take care of those intruders"
He stood up and stretched as he jumped down and landed on the ground.
The man looked like he was about to die of some kind of sickness but as he was moving he thought, "Wait, they didn't tell me where they are, how do they expect me to find them"
"Oh yeah, the tracker, looks like it came in handy after all" the man thought after remembering that there all wearing a watch that show's there location to the rest.
"Looks like we're done" Yami said.
"Yeah but my body hurts all over" Natsu replied in frustration.
"I was wondering how you were able to take all those attacks without damage, now I'm sure you were just pretending like you weren't being affected by it"
"Yeah, I've been in much more pain than this so this was nothing" Natsu said as Yami thought, "Wow, he must have really suffered than I did"
"Let's go, since we now have all their equipments, it's going to be easy to finish the exams" Natsu said with a very evil smile as Yami laughed and replied, "You're right, we really hit the jackpot pot didn't we, plus we might be able to sell their items if we finish this exams"
"Exactly, you know what's up" Natsu said as the both began laughing and discussing while leaving the mages all tied and beaten up as they began moving towards the finish point.
During this time most of the contestants were moving as fast as they could since they noticed they were no beast to fight, plus the amount of traps reduced as some weren't working due to Natsu and Yami.
Yami was running really fast while backing Natsu, as Natsu also used his rope to move them around, which made them move really fast.
The boss saw his people moving really fast towards him which made him confused since he knew non of the people in his team could move that fast.
"Ahhhhh, I see, this must be the intruders, they must be really powerful to be moving at this speed. I better be prepared for them if I want to make them pay"
As the man was talking to himself, he saw Kazuko destroy the door as she continued moving straight towards the finishing point.
They both crossed eyes, although from a distance, Kazuko knew the man was powerful but before she could do anything, the man disappeared as he thought, "Too bad I couldn't fight you, you look pretty interesting, I'll just have to blame the intruders for this"
Kazuko continued moving as he disappeared and thought, "Who was that? That guy looked like he was about to die but I'm sure he's pretty powerful. Was he an intruder or something? No I shouldn't bother myself, right now I should focus on the exams"
Kazuko was the first person to arrive and the worst part of all this is that she beat the record most people took to finish the exams.
Gildart and Damian arrived with their jaws dropped as they saw her which made both of them to laugh really sarcastically as they thought, "This set is pretty amazing, is this why the exam was set like this? t takes most people about two to three hours to navigate though the maze but it took her about an hour and an half, she's really something"
While everyone was busy moving towards the finish line Kazuko on the other hand has once again proven why she's called a 'Heartless Demon' by passing the exams like a pro hunter.
