It was only a few days later that the Doctor that Sir Forsythe had found came back for a check up.
They arrived in a similar fashion, only this time Cass made sure that they didn't arrive on a rushed Sir Forsythe's horse. Instead, he sent out a carriage, a fully functioning carriage with Sir Forsythe as an escort and then they arrived.
Sam stood by anxiously as the Doctor took in Cass' current condition. They had removed their hood once they had entered the room, showing off their features a bit more as they looked over Cass' wounds and body.
"Have you had any strange symptoms?" They asked and Cass didn't even stand a chance. Cass opened his mouth, but Sam was already there, spilling.
"There was a time when he started crying blood, and his breathing became harsh and raspy. We had to feed him the tonic. His pulse was getting faint, and-" The Doctor's gaze grew wide.
"And no one thought to call me? When did this happen?" They demanded and Sam swallowed.
