After returning home and resting for a while, Laurent went to the company early the next day, resuming work after her leave.
However, when she entered the office, she noticed that Maggie's seat was empty. Once Samantha arrived, Laurent quickly asked her,
"Samantha, where's Maggie?"
Samantha casually responded, "Oh, with her attitude at work, she was just fired by the factory manager yesterday."
Laurent was quite surprised. "What? She got fired?"
Samantha sighed in exasperation, "Don't even mention her. She's never been able to get her letter of credit right. You used to help her, but after you were on leave, she made frequent mistakes, and Danny finally got fed up and fired her."
Samantha wasn't fond of Maggie either, speaking disdainfully, "At first, Danny and I thought her lively and outgoing personality would be perfect for client meetings, but who knew she was so lazy and couldn't even grasp the basic knowledge. How could she handle clients like that?"
