He softly coaxed her for a moment before picking her up and carrying her into the house. He originally thought she was just saying things casually and that she would fall asleep again after speaking. However, after placing her on the bed, she immediately turned over and sat up, looking at him with drunken, blurry eyes and asked,
"My drink?"
Dave had no idea how to deal with her. He went down to the first-floor wine cabinet and brought up a bottle of red wine. They were renting a villa, which was fully stocked with everything, and all the items were high-end luxury goods, so there was no shortage of alcohol.
After opening it, he poured her a glass. She tilted her head back and drank it all, then took a moment to savor it.
"This wine is good."
Only then was she satisfied and tossed herself back onto the large bed, falling into a deep sleep.
