Chapter 102 - Chapter 102: A New Era

After his meeting with Jonady and Thaloria, Sikiord returned to the Centaur Kingdom.

He entered the grand hall of a navy blue castle, where several centaur soldiers awaited him, armed with long spears and wearing armor adorned with tribal symbols.

The atmosphere was solemn, filled with the tension typical of major strategic meetings.

Sikiord kneeled before a majestic centaur with white hair, holding a large golden spear.

An imposing crown rested on his head, a symbol of his royal status.

His piercing eyes fixed on his advisor, waiting for his words with patience.

My king, I am back. I come to report to you.

The centaur king, Meolx, slightly leaning on his ebony throne embedded with jewels, listened attentively to his advisor.

His scrutinizing gaze analyzed every tone, every movement of Sikiord.

After a moment of reflection, he spoke in a deep voice:

Interesting… This Jonady Kaya. I approve of your choices, Sikiord. You seem to hold him in high regard.

Sikiord nodded respectfully.

Yes, my king it would be beneficial for our kingdom to maintain cordial relations with Ednia.

His ambition is great, but he does not seem driven by conquest.

He prefers prosperity over war.

Meolx thoughtfully stroked the handle of his spear before responding gravely:

If this man can bring an era of stability, then we must ensure that this alliance endures.

The fate of our people depends on it.

Another centaur, younger and more impulsive, stepped forward slightly.

But, Your Majesty can we really trust him? Ednia has grown quickly, and such power can corrupt any ruler.

Meolx cast a stern glance at him before responding:

— Time will tell, Jornek. But we cannot ignore the changes taking place in Alderia.

It is better to have an ally than an enemy.

Meanwhile, the news of the conflict and its outcome spread like wildfire across the continent of Alderia.

All the nations learned with astonishment of the defeat Pryzor the conqueror of the Beast Kingdom of Etrakios and the prince Niolz of the Katakiel empire at the hands of the alliance between the island Kingdom of Ednia and the great Confederation of Azulferia.

This conflict, which had lasted only three days, soon became known as "The Three-Day Conflict." But beyond this lightning-fast battle, what left a deep impression on people's minds was the name of the one who had stood up to Pryzor the Conqueror: Jonady Kaya, now recognized as the new monarch of Ednia.

In the Beasts kingdom of Etrakios

The day after the conflict, the few survivors of the defeat returned to the castle to inform their new leader. In the great hall of the palace a werewolf with gray and light blue fur wearing dark armor, stood before the throne.

He listened silently to the report on Pryzor's death.

He squinted and spoke in a grave voice:

 I see... Pryzor is gone.

He scanned the room, where his subordinates had gathered, before adding in a solemn tone:

— I Heyon as the younger brother and new ruler proclaim this day a day of mourning for my brother the former king Pryzor the Conqueror.

With a single motion, the officers present knelt and declared in unison:

— Yes, master!

In the Katakiel Empire  a territory of 2,300,000 km², at the grand castle of Nordia in the throne room.

A demon-like man sat on a violet emerald throne.

His medium-length white hair contrasted with the bright red tattoo on his left cheek.

He gazed at the ceiling with a thoughtful expression.

So, Ilphina… Is it true? Has your brother Niolz really been defeated?

A young woman with long black hair and piercing eyes stood beside the throne. She nodded and let out a slight sigh.

Ahhh, yes, father. It seems that Niolz was too impetuous this time… Knowing his nature he must have thought victory would be his but this time he will not return.

The demon slowly stood up, his gaze drifting toward the horizon visible from the palace terrace.

He watched the starry sky and smiled.

HAHAHA So my foolish, impatient son, you have gone.

I wanted to let you rule the empire for a few more years, but it seems this defeat against the coalition has kept you in check.

Yet, you left with honor, like a true and pride demon a of Katakiel Niolz my son.

After a long silence, he murmured a name:

 The island Kingdom of Ednia…

Ilphina watched her father and cautiously asked:

Are we going to intervene Father?

The Demon Emperor let out a slight smile.

No, there is no need this conflict did not concern the empire that was Niolz personnal fight.

Also let us not give those damn foolish lezard any reason… But this young human king, Jonady Kaya has caught my attention and also this curse Almornyx.

In the Kingdom of Drakharis  a nation of 1,037,429 km², at the great Ignis Castle located above a massive volcano dragons flew above the castle.

Inside a large room, a woman sat on a throne adorned with stylized flames.

Her long red hair cascaded over her shoulders, highlighting her golden, piercing eyes, like those of a predator.

Fine reddish horns emerged from her forehead with scales.

She slowly closed a report detailing the recent events and raised an eyebrow.

She frowned slightly then, in an authoritative voice, asked:

I didn't really expect this… Has Pryzor the Conqueror and Niolz really have been defeated? Is the report I read true?

Before her, four dragonmen dressed in red armor were kneeling.

One of them Ezor, stood and spoke with respect:

 Yes, Lady Almornyx.

There is no doubt that the Kingdom of Ednia was one of the major players in this victory.

She smirked before standing up.

Almornyx slowly closed the report and raised an eyebrow.

Hmph… Pryzor had led many invasions against our nation the kingdom of Drakharis but we stopped them all.

Knowing his ambition, I had planned to have him fight Freydyss; he would have been a good element for her evolution. By the way, where is she?

Kelfel, another guard, stood up and said:

Lady Freydyss is training with the Sky Battalion Lady Almornyx.

Almornyx nodded.

I see. the Alderia continent is on the brink of change.

Then, Almornyx continued:

The Efnos tend to appear during periods of change.

Zarth, one of her generals, a dragon with scarlet scales, dared to ask a question:

Do you think they preparing a massive attack against Drakharis?

She stood up from her throne and walked to the large window of the castle, gazing at the boiling volcano.

Perhaps… Who knows? Let those foolish beings come i will destroy them it all depends on how they move.

Almornyx have a smile on her face and said:

"Jonady Kaya... I look forward to meeting you."

Thus, across the continent of Alderia, the nations were preparing for a new era.
