Winter had tightened its grip on the campus, leaving thick layers of snow piled along the walkways and icicles dangling from the rooftops. Most students huddled inside to avoid the biting cold, but the student council office remained lively — though not because of student council business.
Chase, who wasn't even part of the council, was lounging on Athena's couch once again. His head rested comfortably on her lap, his eyes half-closed as her fingers casually played with his hair. He had no reason to be there except to spend time with Athena — and frankly, he didn't need one.
The door opened, and Alice walked in with her usual bright smile, her expression energetic yet precise. In her arms was a neatly organized folder — color-coded tabs and all — tucked close to her chest.
"Alright!" Alice declared with a cheerful but determined tone. "I've finished organizing the winter event schedule. Everything's sorted down to the minute."
