The group rode all the way to Alice's house after getting off the plane. As they pulled up to the large estate, Chione and Athena looked up in mild surprise.
"Alice, this is where you grew up? It's almost as big as our house," Chione commented, her tone as neutral as ever, though her eyes reflected mild curiosity.
"I didn't expect you were almost as wealthy as a god growing up," Athena added, crossing her arms.
Lila, who had been relatively quiet, suddenly felt nervous now that they were actually here. "Umm, Alice… you did tell your parents about me, right?" she asked hesitantly.
Alice simply smiled. "Not at all."
Lila felt a wave of dread crash over her. Artemis clapped her on the shoulder reassuringly. "Her parents are very nice."
Chase sighed, rubbing his temple. "Can we just go inside? I'm tired."
The moon hung high above them, nearing midnight. Chione turned to Artemis, parroting Chase's words. "Artemis, Chase said he's tired."
