Atrox returned his unseen law and flew toward where the army would be. He began to think about how he would address it. For all he knew, the army might be firmly back in Thrain's hands, and this was simply a trap waiting to be sprung.
But he couldn't resist. It was the only way to try and match Thrain in a fight—unless they were going to fight one-on-one, which he doubted.
...The army it is then... I'm sure by now Thrain will be looking for a way to appoint a new Commander for them...
He flew on, going higher and higher between the clouds. And then he saw it—the army camp. They had spread their tents by the thousands. Commander Wrt must have moved more troops than Atrox had thought he would.
...What the... There must be up to two thousand here!...
Atrox couldn't believe his eyes. This was the first time he had seen something this big. Tents spread below him in the same shade of grey, broken here and there by the purple flag of the Clan.
It made the hair on his body rise.
