Evelina smiled faintly, her hand brushing against the soft sheets. "Barely," she murmured. Her gaze wandered around the room. The cabin was warm and simple, its charming rustic style standing out against the impressive palace. "Where… where are we?"
"Not the palace, that's for sure," Relia replied. "But you're safe. Damian saved us, remember? Absorbed all that poison and pain."
