Jeremy chose the left side of the ground to face her. May Lindsey stood opposite him. There was quite a gap between the two of them.
Old man Derek looked at the two of them. He thought of something before saying, "You guys, before starting the duel, I'm going to say a few things. First, it's a friendly duel, not a do-or-die one."
"If things get difficult, there is no shame in accepting defeat. You guys can fight next time."
"More importantly, the injuries on the lifeline beast will affect the Beast Tamer as well. So be careful in handling your lifeline beast."
Hearing that, Jeremy nodded his head. He was planning to see it through to the end. He knew he could fight without starlight energy as well.
"I'm ready," May Lindsey uttered.

Old man Derek retreated in mid-air. Then he looked at both and said, "Fight!"

Jeremy took out his katana and started sprinting towards her. It all happened within seconds.
