Elizabeth read the motion instantly, her instincts screaming at her to evade.

The ground shattered beneath the weight of the stomp, sending massive chunks of earth flying in every direction.
Elizabeth twisted mid-air, narrowly avoiding a chunk of debris the size of a boulder. She landed effortlessly on the shifting terrain, only for the beetle to charge again—this time, far faster than before.
Its horn started glowing again with dark purple sparks that accompanied the glow. From the look of things, the creature was building up energy.
Elizabeth narrowed her eyes at the charging creature, one would think that it would fall at this point due to all the damage she had inflicted, but no, it was still charging at her.
"Alright, let's see how much more damage you can take" She said.
