The cloaked figure completed his scream before he suddenly stopped, confused as to where he currently was.
But before he could make sense of anything,
Beel transformed in a form similar to the Voidspawns and completely enveloped the cloaked figure.
He tried fighting back to it was too late as Beel had already started absorbing him.
The absorption didn't take long and soon enough, Beel had completely absorbed the figure.
With the figure gone, the rift started destabilizing before it wrapped into itself and imploded, sending an invisible shockwave through space.
Luckily, everyone was standing a bit far from the rift so the shockwaves only reached them when its force was only enough to ruffle their clothes.
"Tasty!" Beel commented with a satisfied smile on its little face.
"Did you get his memory?" Reid asked.
He wouldn't make the same mistake as with Darren. He would gather every single lead that points towards the cult, no matter how insignificant.
