Sophia Hyun, the manager at the front desk, greeted her with a kind voice.
Elise quickly passed by, pretending not to notice. Sophia's face froze.
"Dad!"
Elise burst into Dominic Chae's office.
Dominic was talking on the phone with someone, his back to the desk as he looked out the window.
"Dad! I passed..."
Before Elise could finish her sentence, Attorney Chae turned around and held up his palm to stop her.
"How about we check the opinion first and then discuss it again? I think it would be better to review the inheritance renunciation issue after that."
Dominic was frowning at Elise. It was as if her sudden intrusion was a nuisance.
Elise's bright face gradually clouded over.
"You should always act modestly. What's with all this fuss?"
"I... I passed."
Elise carefully answered Dominic's question after he finished his call.
After a moment of silence, Dominic soon broke into a wide smile.
"Good job."
