Ryan looked down at Julian and spoke casually.
"I'm fine. Rich thugs like me are usually generous."
"I, I seem to have made a big mistake in my choice of words..."
"But you know what?"
As Ryan suddenly became serious, Julian's face quickly hardened.
Ryan's eyes were cold as he stared down at Julian.
"Don't mess with my rookie."
"Excuse me?"
"Watch your behavior. This is your final warning."
"Yes... yes. I'll be careful."
As Julian was nodding with a red face, the phone in his hand began to vibrate.
Julian checked the caller and quickly looked up, saying,
"Ah, it's a call from the secretary team... It's probably because our meeting time is up... I think I should head up now."
"Go on ahead."
"Yes, then I'll see you in the conference room."
As Ryan nodded, Julian bowed deeply and hurriedly left.
Winter shook her head as she watched Julian rush out of the library.
She couldn't understand Julian's unusually strange remarks today.
