Damion's mind wandered off from Nyx, and he began to think of the possible reasons Melruen had helped them.
Melruen was the odd one out of all the students termed strong. He didn't misuse his Ability or find trouble with anyone, in fact he was the calmest amongst all students.
His strong Ability made it so that no one messed with him, and even at that, he was known for his gentle nature.
Damion also remembered that he was always found with Emily. They moved together at all times, and people even claimed they shared the same room —though he wasn't so sure about that.
This was all he could find out about Melruen in his extensive research.
Damion was so lost in thoughts that he totally ignored Nyx, who hovered before him, inspecting his facial features with a serious look in his eyes.
