The rest of the mission went smoothly, as it should. Lane left the dungeon, returned the clothes to poor Jose hiding in the stall, and drove first to the hotel he had booked as Lane. While it would have been more convenient to bring his real body to the Perellel Hotel right away… Oscar shared a room with another member of the Allen Guild, and Lane didn't want to leave his body zipped in a suitcase for a few days! While his real body could go without food and water for weeks when he was possessing someone else… Lane wasn't quite sure how it was with air, and he wasn't at all curious to find out!
So, he had no choice but to drop it off somewhere else for now, and pick it up as they were getting ready to leave country K.
