"Where are we going?" My voice barely sounded like my own as I was focused on the fact Edward was holding my thigh whilst he drove. His hands were pale against my thigh and the way he constantly gripped me half made me forget about the fact he was driving me to a location I didn't know.
"It's a surprise," he momentarily looked at me before he focused on the road.
"I don't like surprises. You could be going to end me once and for all so that I can't steal that captain title from you," I smiled.
He grinned and shrugged, "You're already the captain of my heart however killing you wouldn't be wise. Who is going to keep me in check?"
"That's all I am to you," I chuckled then shook my head.
"If you could wait to see the surprise then you will know you're more," he took my hand then kissed the back of my palm.
