Color made its way back to Blue's vision once again, but the first thing he saw wasn't the floor of Winter's place.
Instead, he saw a pure white ceiling. His nose easily picked the scent of disinfectant and misery. He was at a hospital.
Blue immediately sat up straight. He was too fast in his movement and oblivious to the fact that there was an IV connected to his hand.
"Ow!" Blue exclaimed in pain as he lifted his hand to look at it. The needle had shifted in his vein.
Just then, someone stepped into the room. It was a nurse. She quickly assessed the situation and rushed to fix the needle.
Blue noticed that the bruises on his knuckles had been treated with bandaids slapped over them.
"Why am I here?" Blue thought to ask the nurse.
With her attention on the drip, the nurse said, "You fainted and your Alpha brought you here."
It was a very vague response. Annoying enough to put a frown on Blue's face.
