It was only for a brief moment but Blue noticed it.
"I didn't know you had guests over. I'm so sorry. I'll go now." Kendall spoke with an awkward tone as he bowed his head in apology.
"Oh, it's fine. Hiii!" Sasha stood up from the chair she was sitting on to greet Kendall, the same time Kendall basically ran into the kitchen to drop off the pie.
As he was about to leave the kitchen, Kendall was trapped by Sasha. There was a bright smile on her face as she said, "You must be Blue's neighbor. I hope he's been good to you."
It was weird how Kendall's gaze was fixed on the floor as he nodded his head in agreement to Sasha's words and said, "He's good. He's been absolutely good to me."
Blue looked at Kendall with a raised brow. That was a lie. Blue had not been good to him. In fact, Blue was not good to anyone, including his own self.
"That's so nice. You hear that, Easton?" Sasha glanced behind, pulling her husband into the conversation.
