Opal pushed her hands off the wall where she was hemming Baer in. She stalked off down the dark passage, heading towards the girls dormitories.
"I'm not allowed in there, Wildcat," he reminded her, hurrying to catch up.
"There's a spare room that will work," she called over her shoulder, without looking back. "It has its own entrance. It was reserved for Delphi, but she wants to sleep in the bunks with the rest of the palace girls."
"You've really thought this through," Baer smirked. "You've got the night planned out I see. I guess that means you want me, baby. Can't wait to see what's next."
"In your dreams, big boy. A promise is a promise, and I need your help before Niko hooks back up with Indy. I'm just making sure I've got your help when I need it. And if I have to sleep with you, I might as well get some enjoyment out of the arrangement."
