The Moran family had been busy for most of the day, but they did not find anyone suspicious.
However, Nicolas and Farrah didn't dare to dismiss last night's experience as a dream.
Maggie seemed to have said a lot to them, but none of them heard her clearly. They only vaguely remembered the last sentence they heard before drifting off to sleep:
"If you don't come to see me, I'll come to see you."
This sentence frightened them.
After finishing his breakfast dispiritedly, Nicolas instructed the butler to get a car ready, saying,
"Prepare another bouquet of fresh flowers. I'm going to visit Maggie."
He didn't invite Farrah to join him. If he had, Farrah would have scolded him—and so would Maggie. It was better for him to go alone.
Upon hearing that he was going to see Maggie, Farrah angrily kicked the table and chair and muttered,
"I know he's still thinking about that woman and has never forgotten her."
